What did you say Pi? I was reading the docs. No surprise here. By a 3-1 margin. It's USAPA on the island of delay.

"USAPA repeats that it favors the proposed merger and stands by its commitments under the MOU. USAPA nevertheless submits that the DOJ Antitrust Action significantly changes the facts underlying the Court's July 19, 2013 Order (Doc. 122) and that, as a result, this action should be dismissed without prejudice for a number of reasons."

Plaintiff democracy doesn't work in a court of law, numbnuts!

Thats it! The monthly mag. Just make sure that us retirees get a copy so we will have something good to light the fireplace with. And for those really old guys (and girls) just reading the rag will help with constipation issues.

I never changed any of my plans as if it was going to happen. (I think Prechi and Clear may have bought houses in CLT and have been commuting to PHX for five years ).

About the only thing I plan ahead for in this industry is my next CQT, a V1 cut, and an FA that escalates a pax problem.

Those things are as certain as taxes.Not to mention that the FAA always shows up on the last leg of the worst 4 day trip you have ever had.

Agreed. Let us not forget the emails noting such laughable notions as "industry standard contracts" to just be "silly stuff", right up there with "more leg room" and "wine" (how appropriate). How ANYone, especially among employee groups, could still support that individual and his cronies is a complete mystery to me at this point.

If I was still working the only way I would send a letter of complaint to the DOJ would be after Dougies resignation.

Poor tyke might well have suffered some sort of minor, mental seizure...a predictable result for anyone that bases their whole existence, "philosophy", etc, purely on "expectations", whenever they're inevitably confronted with life outside Fantasyland.

You still haven't figured it out they all want it to go on as scheduled because it will completely destroy your suit. Do you honestly believe you have a JCBA with an airline the DOJ just denied a merger with. Talk about fantasy.
The west thinks the depositions of Hummel, Ciabattoni and Bradford will make a difference. The news of this will merely infuriate the east pilots very shortly. Hummel will soon be recalled when the story is told of his attempted betrayal.

Agreed, although I'd extend that to his frat-boy-cadre as well. There's just NO possible way I could now even imagine supporting such proven fools...and then, there's the little issue of "industry standard contracts" being derisively laughed at as being "stupid stuff", along the likes of "more foot room" in emails,etc/ad nauseum. Those people might as well have taken out full-page adds proclaiming their wholesale disdain and utter contempt for their employees, as well as the traveling public. Really "cute", and oh-so-"clever". How could anyone not be properly disgusted?

Well to start off, yes the suit a fantasy! But given what I just heard from a reliable source if I were KOONTZ or an AOL member I would hate USAPA too! No wonder they want depositions with HUMMEL, BRADFORD , CIABOTTONI, seems they were promised a seat at the M/B hearing(AOL) for support of the MOU and when the lawyers were advised of the deal and told GARY it was highly illegal they called for the depositions! Now folks this is total rumor based on gossip but hell sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction!
