Ask your west brothers about the depositions. Hopefully The Honorable Judge will let them proceed at the trial. Let the trial begin. Let the western group make its' case and show it's evidence. Should be very, very enlightening.

Ah yes the latest Silver case asking for comments on the DOJ suit and its affect on Silver's Sept 24th trial..


I have to commend USAPA's attourneys for being much smarter (or honest) than those for AMR, USAir, and Leospanker. The latter all think they are going to court on the 24th because there is a dispute between the East and West pilots that will affect the merger... but that is not true. The only reason we are going to court is because Silver ordered the parties to enter her courtroom on Sept 24th (in Doc 122). USAPA understands that appearance before Judge Silver is predicated on the validity of her order (in Doc 122) and accordingly they showed why the DOJ suit undermined the validity of her order (Who knows if Judge Silver can admit she got caught with her girdle showing ). All the others just yelled louder that the controversy must be settled, and completely ignored the legal premise (Silver's Order of trial, Doc 122).

Bravo to USAPA's lawyers. Even Prechi, Clear, and Nic4us must admire USAPA's integrity via its lawyers, or deny their own. 🙂

You attack people that support our position but are not pilots yet continue to agree and encourage those on your side of the river that support you and are not pilots.

I got your point right out of the gate. Bean's qualifications were commensurate and nothing out of the ordinary, and replaceable by a pilot with less. So what? His post was in reply to Claxhole, who daily shows his stupidity of the airline industry, and dislike of the fact that AWA bought his bankrupt carrier and saved his job.

when Bean was hired, the only options for a major airline job were at the big 3...AWA, SWA, and JBA. A rusted out has been about to be liquidated #### hole like AAA was too busy furloughing and burning furniture to even think about hiring a pilot who had probably twice the qualifications that the average again furloughed east pilot had in 1988.

I usually don't bring peas and carrots to a picnic which I see the way this will go in Silver's court.

Clear? I don't know him. He may be at the cabin in the high country like I was yesterday. It's nice to get way from this place once in a while. No Internet, no cable and. No cell service until reaching town. Just Elk and trout as neighbors.

Thanks!! Yes. I deal in facts, not hysterical emotions. I think Silver is going to issue a stay. Odds of outright dismissal are very low.
