And had that been the result of negotiations between the two MECs prior to Mediation/Arbitration or if that would have been the result of the NIC Award itself, then such a scenario would have my full support also. It's not a reality today and it probably never will be. Such things are out of anyone's control at this point. USAPA can accept the NIC or continue to fend off legal challenges to its position by west pilots and the Company. West pilots can continue to unify under an anti-USAPA mindset or they can disband leaving the individuals to decide for themselves to take up a DFR claim against USAPA. The Company can do little else but reject non-NIC proposals until a federal court definitively determines their liability for not enforcing the terms of the TA. That's about it in my opinion.

Wow, we're agreeing a lot today. I'd add one other possibility if the AA merger goes through-Follow the MOU, forget the past and let a 3 way MB type process work itself out, then move on.
 
My contribution? What was your contribution to HP prior to 2005 which put Parker in position to acquire US Airways?

Probably about a million dollars in cuts in pay, benefits and retirement to help keep US afloat so it could merge with AWA, and then benefit you too.

No separate class for the West. If they do every other sub group of pilots should file for separate class status. AWAPPA can lead off, then the PHL female pilots, followed by The black pilots based in CLT, and then the foreign born East guys.

You're clearly terrified that you're scab union is going to lose the ability to discriminate against the West. If I were you, I'd' be praying that Silver orders the use of the Nic if the merger goes through. If The West gets truly independent representation in front of the arbitration panel, they are going after the East with a blood lust. 8 years of Ill-gotten gains, endless DFR examples at the hands of organized crime masquerading as a labor union.

If I was USCABA, I would avoid that kind of scrutiny in an SLI process in front of an arbitration panel like the plague. How funny would it be if the number one East guy got stapled behind Odell. Arbitrators can do whatever they want.

Just pointing out you have no ability to carve the West pilots out as a class. No more than the female or gay and lesbian pilots. What gives PHX based pilots class status and not PHL or CLT? You are clueless Metroyet.

That argument doesn't wash. Just like saying the Empire/Trump pilots should get DOH. Can't be done because the list is already implemented. The merged list with AA is TBD, three lists means three classes. Do it right this time and move on.

If you still believe that a DOH seniority list is even remotely an option I'd say you're the clueless one.

One way or another, you're not going to dictate the terms of any SLI to anyone, at any time. You'll just stay on LOA93 making $50/hr less than everybody else that flys airplanes for a living. Delta and Alaska have closed out two contracts since USTUPID was voted in.

You know that if the East pilots were told they'd still be on LOA93 5+ years after the vote, with no end in sight, there is no way in hell USAPA would be here.

USAPA has been an utterly complete failure and there isn't a soul working in aviation that doesn't know that.

DOH is very possible and very fair if the proper fences are used. Put some more Pacific flying in PHX and grow the base, I'm happy with that!

Never happen! It will be APA and USAPA. Nobody can give the west class certification. The NMB will be parachuting into the AZ courtroom if Silver tries to grant the west class a seat at the table. Not going to happen---ever!

American will never arbitrate for starters.
APA and USAPA. The only certified classes.
