After the summer busy season. Fall '07/ Winter '08 was the last I heard.....Any news on a new lieflat seats . When are they going to install them ???
But I've heard that it is going to happen as of June 1 ...
I keep hearing people mention the new lie-flat business seats going into the 767's. Is this going to replace all the seats in the current business class. Also, are these all new seats, or are they the lie-flat seats found on the A330's. And how many lie-flat seats will they be putting in the 767's. And finally, will they be doing this with the A330's as well? Sorry for all the questions.
Here's a related question, but a bit off topic:Seat retrofit program for the B767 fleet is scheduled to begin in the fall of this year.

It has not been publicly discussed, but it would make sense to put them on the Hawaiian routes when they're not used to Europe. Then they can retrofit the Hawaiian 757 premuim class to match the TA ones. But that just makes too much sense....Here's a related question, but a bit off topic:
What are they going to do witht the ETOPS 757's during the winter months? I mean I assume they will put them on Caribbean, Vegas, etc, but how will they intermix them with the 757's that still have 8 FC domestic seats? Has this been discussed yet?
Can't do that until there is one contract; doubt that will happen by this fall....It has not been publicly discussed, but it would make sense to put them on the Hawaiian routes when they're not used to Europe. The perfect solution...although costly...would be to take pride
.OMG, anyone SEE the pictures on www.justplanenews.com?

They show the added seats on the A330. Now, that's TIGHT.
Can anyone paste and copy them for this board?
only stating opinions.
Oh Goodie! I just hope that the person who is sitting behind me is a barber, he can make a few bucks. Oh that's right no scissors. Oh well. 🙁YIKES!!!! I saw the re-configured A330-300 seats on justplanenews earlier today. The pictures weren't up long, however. Sweet Jesus they are tight!!! The person in front of you is literally sitting in your lap. Absolutely horrendous. Do the Tempe gang not try a little research and development before they make these decisions? The "flagship" aircraft of LCC is now simply a larger A320.
