Because I stand a fair chance of "playing Gin Rummy" with the Man DOWNSTAIRS  , I'll never get to SEE what will be "700's" GREATEST SHOCK of his Life/Afterlife.

THAT being, all those GOOD + clean living Righteous people, who DID NOT buy into his Jesus BS, standing in the SAME(good) place as him

What kind of beer do you like? If I can sneak it past customs, I'll pick up a keg or 2 on the way down. Save me a seat by the fire. I get cold pretty easy.

I thought the two of you had it all figured out and would not be going to the same place as me?

I voted for Hillary Clinton today.

I thought it would be easy. The strategy was simple, really.

Hillary cannot win the general election. Obama, in my estimation, can win the general election. Because of his political beliefs, I do not want him to win. Accordingly, I voted in the democrat primary today for the sole purpose of helping Hillary win Virginia, and hopefully give life to her floundering campaign.

The problem was that once I was there -- I felt dirty -- in a not so sexy kind of way. Sure, I have voted for democrats before -- but they were people I knew, and respected, and people who held jobs where integrity and competence were more important than the large national issues over which those people would play no role.

But here -- here I was holding the democrat ballot in a primary before what will almost certainly be the most important election since 1980. This is an election, for the soul of our country. It is an election about a return to the failed policies of creeping socialism. It is an election about Federalism, and the role of the Courts -- with 3 or more Supreme Court seats likely to be filled. It is an election during a world war that we must win, even though some urge surrender.

Yes -- this is almost as big as the Mets and Yankees.

But I did it. With my hand shaking, my voice quivering, and my solid judgment wavering a bit -- I colored in the Hillary line. I saw Obama up there -- and I admit I was seduced. I thought, well, as long as I am here, I should really vote for the better democrat. No sir, I fought back the urge to vote with some purity, and I remembered that I must help Hillary. I must get her across the finish line. She must win now -- because she cannot win later.

As I drove off to confession -- following my long hot shower -- I wondered if my world will ever be the same. Then, of course, I realized that had I not sacrificed my vote -- perhaps my world, my country, never would be the same.

May God and his faithful servant *JOHN McCain*have mercy on my soul.
