In fact, when marketing screws up, a flight is overbooked and sloughs off paying pax to secondary carriers like SWA. Case in point, SWA shadows our LAX/PHL non-stops (4 to 5 per day) by 20 to 30 minutes. USAirways fricking supports those SWA flights just from the over-bookings.
Most pax are reaccomed on other US flights or on other network airlines since we have eticketing agreements with them. Reaccoming on WN is not the norm.
Southwest only has 2 LAX-PHL nonstops a day and overbooks their flights too!
