Not all of us ex-PSA are of that creature's sort, by any means. A good percentage were of the USN persuasion, with some of us USAF almost needing a "waiver"....That punk was purely civilian and ofvery tender age...and I've no idea who-he-knew/why he even got hired back then.

Probably because I had more total flight time than you did. Plus I was current in the B727 in the F/O and F/O seats. And type rated to boot.

I'm sure it was all truly "impressive" flight time indeed, and from only the "finest" schools, no doubt....and a big "whoopee-do" for your "current in the B727 in the F/o and F/e seats" ...most bags of sand could've managed that...heck..even my sorry self could then claim that much as well. 🙂 So...Who did you know to get hired?

Bottom line? = You would have fitted in better with AWA, were it then available. 😉...which may well explain your current affinity with their peculiar little world view. 🙂 Ever seen the inside of the O' Club at Miramar...outside of the "Top Gun" movie, that is?..No?...Than you ain't Real PSA....so drop the avatar...it's disgusting!

You posted on this forum many times that this experience you claim does not matter when it pertains to the East pilots.

The only pension theft I'm aware was the one that occurred in BK 1 and 2.

They must have let the USAF in the Miramar O Club for comic relief after the Phantoms or Tomcats kicked your butts.....dogfighting of all things.

You wouldn't know, nor can, nor will ever know about any such things....those were conversations to be had among Pilots, but feel free to again dazzle me with your 727 bag-of-sand experiences. 🙂

Meanwhile...I'll leave you to get back to drooling your support for the "spartans", "knights" and "dire wolves" and those you so love, much more than your own coworkers of many years, out in AWA land. 🙂

Perhaps you should collaborate more directly with the west, and have them include you in their next video....Heck!...You too can then instantly become at least a "spartan", perhaps even a "knight" who's "fought with valor in many battles"....Who knows?...Maybe even a "dire wolf"!!! 😉

Less of an acidic "Oh Yeah!!?" post in response here. That's "kind" of you old boy 🙂...from one old boy to another. 😉 I know you've "been around" the airline business for a very respectable time, to say the least. Some have spoken well of you as a "Boss" aloft, and I'll not be so petty as to disregard that. Whatever got you started, well...really doesn't matter after all these years. This is purely civil aviation here and so be it...thirty degrees of bank and gag-me-with-a-spoon "excitement", but no matter. The view's wonderful and the people are excellent to work with. What I simply can't understand is your easy willingness to sell out those junior to us. What's the point? We'll both be gone soon enough. Why not do the right thing for them, as best that we can here?

In my humble opinion doing the right thing should have been accepting the Nic back in 2007.

In the subsequent 5+ years, all USAirways pilots East and West would have earned more more money and had some of the previous benefits restored through at least one or maybe even two contracts. And been able to show UNITY in dealings with management.

Those that felt so aggrieved by the award would be upgrading or going from reserve to blockholder within a short time of what a DOH list would have presented. At much higher payrates with a better quality of life.

Merger or not, there will be no DOH SLI on this property. I truly believe this.

If USAPA really does represent ALL USAirways pilots, including the West and the new hires, they better not screw up the deal with AA because it is THE best chance for all USAirways pilots to have a career to look forward to for the duration.

Indeed....That almost hurts to remember! "God was in His Heaven...and all was right with the world" 🙂 The below, being admittedly before my time there, but the "spirit" had still, most certainly, lived on 🙂
