What's most amazing to me is that you actually buy into the company's BS there. I suppose the only reason for that is to imagine yourselves/AOL to be hugely significant and equally powerfull in some way, which is laughable. Talk about playing labor like a fiddle...you guys just won't stop dancing and asking them for more tunes.

I can't honestly blame managment for employing their willing and eager accomplices, their "useful idiots" as the Stalinist regime put it so well, that you've/AOL made of your group, to management's best advantage.

I have a friend who was a 1989 east hire who was furloughed when the "merger" was announced. He had actually served the company around six years due to all of his time on furlough. At that time I was a west captain who had over seven years of service.

Even though I had more time in service to the company your DOH dream places my friend over 700 numbers senior to me.

A pity that you folks hadn't even the time of day to offer to any considerations of LOS, which, imo, should've certainly been done. I don't agree with putting anyone who's worked more beneath one who's worked less...period!

I'd have been a bit "dissappointed" to have ever received such brilliant correspondence from a junior officer at any time...but, given that you failed med school admissions and couldn't do any better as a "pilot" (or perhaps personality shone through during interviews) than AWA, I'll consider the source.

No support what so ever. All you have to do is get Parker to accept DOH / DOH-lite & ratify the contract by a majority. It's that simple. You don't need the West for any of it.

Time's a wastin' East. The sooner that you get this new JCBA done, the quicker we will be to the end of this disaster.

You can not (speaking of painted in a corner) accept anything other than DOH / DOH-lite according to the USAPA Constitution & Bylaws & UOM. We will NOT accept anything other than an unchanged, unfenced, unmolested Nicolau Seniority list.

The Nicolau Seniority list is the ONLY legal, final and binding seniority list. NO court has EVER overturned a final & binding arbitrated list. The 9th & Silver have told you that you are free to negotiate anything you like, with the understanding that you must do so with a legitimate union purpose. DOH, DOH-lite (or any other concoction that USAPA comes up with will fail that test.

The Nicolau is the middle ground. It is the compromise. It is the final product of a legally agreed upon process. Will your bank allow you to live in your house and not pay house payments if you change your name to Mike Cleary? How is this any different?

BTW, the West has done nothing wrong. We came to the table, we agreed with your selection of arbitrators, we tried to mediate an agreement, and we followed the arbitrators rules. The arbitrator delivered a list that was determined by the authorities to be within the confines of the merger policy & Parker's terms of cost constraints.

You seek to recover some of your failed career off the backs & seniority of the AWA pilot group (because you CAN'T get the money you've lost from anyone else).

Hurry up East. We're just waiting on you guys.

I would encourage all pilots to participate in the forum over at cactuspilot.com. It has always been west centric and even the east ALPA supporters outnumber the east USAPA supporters. But the cite is well moderated, only LCC pilots can participate and everyone's real identity is known.

Which means that the kind of mud slinging which takes place here on a regular basis is avoided.

I think the reason some of us continue to engage here and elsewhere is to maintain some semblence of dialogue, however tenuous, with the each other - which is constructive.

USAPA made a bad decision not to erect its own pilot forum. Pilots can't help but to engage each other, whether in crew rooms or virtual crew rooms.

Except for the unfortunate name, I would consider going there.

But not to forget, USAPA is in "COLLUSION"! that moron is "BI-POLAR" remember on "OUR" second contract by now, in what universe? It would have required"DUAL RATIFICATION" NEVER HAPPEN, and the claim of harm, "A DAVE CHAPPELE" episode for sure! PHXTASYLAND!
