I have a friend who was a 1989 east hire who was furloughed when the "merger" was announced. He had actually served the company around six years due to all of his time on furlough. At that time I was a west captain who had over seven years of service.

Even though I had more time in service to the company your DOH dream places my friend over 700 numbers senior to me.

It's NOT the company's fault. They KNOW that until the seniority issue is resolved (it actually is - one party refuses to abide by the arbitrated decision), there is their opinion that negotiating anything is pointless. They have used this and played USAPA like a well worn Charlie Daniels fiddle.

USAPA (& the AAA MEC) are the reasons that we didn't get to a first contract with ALPA. USAPA is the reason that we still don't have a contract (let alone a second post merger contract like DAL).

The blame game is getting really old:

• It's ALPA's fault
• It's Nicolau's fault
• It's the West's fault
• It's the NMB's fault
• It's the company's fault
• It's..............

1695 days since the inception of the union to end all unions. The gold standard in keeping major airline pilot wages at historic lows. A dismal failure to be sure (except for the attrition captured at regional pilot wages - excellent!).

Hey Dave, just curious how do you get along with JJ, aka. Move2 who absolutely hates God. Why not take him to church with you, the boy really needs some guidance from above.

JJ is a great guy. Believe it or not you can like someone and have a strong pholosophical disagreement with them. That, of course, is different than when one renegs on his agreement with you and steals from you - just as you eastholes are doing to us westies. You deserve our disdain and the disdain of the entire industry.

Anyone who is trying to do an end run around the binding arbitration, which we all agreed to, is attempting to take something from another. They are attempting to gain in their career at the expense of another. Pretty much the definition of a scab.

Those that support ucrapa's actions in this manner are scabs in my opinion. You, Jamie, are a king scab as a founder of that bullshite "union". Honest enough for you, scumbag?
