Shiny 737-800?

Fly your own jet...

Ohh relax, if it were to happen it would be years down the road. Sure you wouldn't like to trade for a low mileage A-321? 🙂 Besides, they're not your aircraft, some leasing company registered in some tax haven owns them.

It says that the mou or jcba will NOT Chang those in effect. In essence. The mou section 10 will Chang the three lists. Mou supersedes the ta. Ie. the ta will be amended as per the mou. Which the mou does not have the power to institute the NIC. Not hard to follow at all

... What DOES provide the basis to change the seniority listS currently in effect is the TRANSITION AGREEMENT, ...

Will the Transition agreement be in effect? The MOU will be fully implemented before a JCBA... So, from page two, last part of paragraph 4... This could be an interesting part of the MOU...

"Once the MTA has been fully implemented, it shall fully displace and render a nullity any prior collective bargaining agreements applicable to US Airways pilots and any status quo arising thereunder."

Reread paragraph 1. The TA will be in effect until there is a MTA. You seem to be confusing this MOU with a MTA. For the LCC pilots an MTA is a JCBA. So, the TA is in effect until we have a JCBA which will supersede it, but also trigger the NIC.

Since we are talking about semantics, this is nothing but legal cover. The company must remain neutral. So they agree that the MOU and JCBA do not change the listS in effect. In other words the company has nothing to do with it. What DOES provide the basis to change the seniority listS currently in effect is the TRANSITION AGREEMENT, which keeps the lists separate until we (east and west) are working under a joint contract. THAT is the basis for changing the lists. Not the MOU in and of itself. The Nic has already been accepted and paid for as provided by law. We will be working under a single contract before entering MB arbitration with APA. Hence the Nic will be merged with APA's list accordingly. Checkmate.

That's how I see it. All roads lead to the Nic in arbitration. The language in MOU just kicks the can on to the APA.

That's basically it. It's to keep us quiet and in line. If everyone is still guessing that it may be a three was, they'll get even guys like luv to vote for it.

See here is where you get lost, although you think it is not hard to follow.

How many listS are in effect at LCC? You seem to be assuming it is two, an east and a West.

Problem is there are contractually per the TA 4 listS. An east a West, the Nic and a separate third lister ranking.

None of which will be changed by a JCBA, but one will then be contractually implemented!

No, it's us that is hanging on to the last straw. With USAPA gone, we'll be out of straws while they still have ripeness to fall back on.

Dca319 and the Westoffs always have that lottery ticket Nicolau concept weaving in every thought they have. There is no mention of the Nicolau, but these idiots are like crack whores. Always in their little heads when it isn't even a remote possibility now.

The funniest and most desperate feeble thought is their idea that AA is even concerned about the "liability" issue and the Nic. Nic4 and Cleardirect obsess over this stupid idea.

Anybody notice lately that the Nic is still the only accepted system seniority list at LCC?

No.....but I have noticed that the only effective Seniority Lists at LCC (you know, the ones that can be used.....the ones that have any relevancy here) are both DOH Lists.

I guess that list you refer to......the one that LCC 'accepted'.....will go away with LCC! The only guy who will ever see that list again is the guy who buys Parkers' desk at the fire sale in Tempe.
