No.....but I have noticed that the only effective Seniority Lists at LCC (you know, the ones that can be used.....the ones that have any relevancy here) are both DOH Lists.

I guess that list you refer to......the one that LCC 'accepted'.....will go away with LCC! The only guy who will ever see that list again is the guy who buys Parkers' desk at the fire sale in Tempe.

Exactly. That Nicolau was never implemented. The crack ho s missed the boat.

Here comes the Nic addict Nic4 splainin why he gets that Nic. Most street addicts have better stories.

The funniest and most desperate feeble thought is their idea that AA is even concerned about the "liability" issue and the Nic. Nic4 and Cleardirect obsess over this stupid idea.

Man are you stupid.

The question of whether it will be the Nic or a 3 way is kind of left hanging to interpretation in this MOU, but one thing is for certain.

It will not be DOH.

even though the east was stupid enough to believe the union busting little lawyer, stripped the West of representation, and founded a union of scabs, the MOU is perfectly clear on the fact that MB is the law, and guess what, the Nic is the only accepted system seniority list at LCC.

Thanks for costing us all tens of thousands of dollars and worse yet, a better bargaining position going into that MB integration you stupid morons.

That is what is meant by final and binding!

Half right. The west list is DOH. The east list. Not so much. The accepted combined list. Nicolau.

Really?

Well before you go and soil you sheets tonight, let me just pass on a little bed time story.

Once upon a time there was a group of pilots called the West pilot class. they were smart guys and hired a great law firm to protect them from a scab union. Their lawyers knew other lawyers who worked for other pilot groups at a company called AMR. Not only that, they had ties in an organization called CAPA, who really despised the scab union.

so they all got together and figured out a way to put an end to the problem.

THE END

Sleep well!!!!!

Three lists, you know, the ones that are actually being used today. Snapshot taken of all three pilot groups as of the POR date, followed by an SLI negotiation, possibly a three judge panel arbitration.

At the end of the day, some "hocus pocus" hybrid list will appear incorporating slotting (ratios), DOH (LOS), with lots of wide and tall fences, which if "properly" constructed will piss off roughly equal percentages of all three pilot groups.

No arbitration. This will be settled before that. Why would any APA pilot want to risk a Nic-like abomination? They have learned well from all those that went bankrupt before them, and are actually going to come out of BK without a BK contract, though minus an active DB plan. They have learned well watching U, AWA, DL, NWA, CO, and UAL combine (or fail to combine) seniority lists. APA knows USAPA does not seek a land grab on "their stuff." APA knows the coming retirement tsunami will lift all boats (over 2700 age 65 in 6 years.)

Better read the fine print in the MOU. All of it. In numerous locations. Its an Easter egg hunt, and someone just stepped on the egg with the NIC inside. No big loss, it was rotten anyway.

I bet you this goes to arbitration. In fact I'll guarantee it. The APA has briefed its members that integration will go using a slotting method and with the legal landmine that Nicolau presents, the APA is going to kick the can to a three man panel. Why do you think it was set up with THREE members? Because they know this is where it will end up and having more than on member on the panel makes whatever they come up with more rock solid.

Because USAPA is going to ask for DOH with fences and APA wants no part of that.

APA said that Delta Northwest was an example of a successful arbitration.

The APA will never arbitrate. DOH with good fences serves their purpose.
