On another note,don't you find it interesting that the recent most prolific posters here are USAPA founders and the former USAPA Minister of Misinformation.

And it wouldn't surprise me if the "non USAirways pilot" Claxon, is none other than Mike Cleary himself.

My mistake then. I must have missed seeing the special invitation to the mighty AOL's coronation ceremony in Dallas. 🙂
 
Oh! Ok then, umm...Did I miss the equally "reasonable", west resolution proposing that east pilots receive back pay for those that endured LOA93's effects, versus the "glorious" west contract? 😉

You must have missed the east resolutions trying to steal West profit sharing last year, for the same reason.

Any back pay, or retro pay could actually be based on some sort of percentage basis..i.e. Say the new hourly rate goes to a phenomenal $225/hr.....that is a $100/hr raise for the east and a $83/hr for the West...so for easy math you get a $10,000 signing bonus, and I get $8,300. Will never happen though, because the east will over reach and demand more than their fair share.

Agree with all above. SCOTTsdale is going nuts these days too, he must sense the walls are collapsing in on his DOH fairy tale he sold the east pilots. Makes you wonder how these false prophets will fare when the average line pilot sees them for who they really are: liars.

You will see AOL's presence if/when any progress towards a merge is announced.

Not hardly Pre. All the line pilots, like myself, that I've flown with are quite happy that I've promised to never vote in favor of anything with the nic stench. As for your above?....Well...I'd wait a bit and see how that eventually applies to those devoted followers of Duchess Fergie and their various and many Ladies in Waiting. 😉

There is nothing to tremble over.

Other than the fact that if this merger goes through, LCC pilots are going to be integrated using the NIC, at a huge disadvantage to the AMR pilots.

All thanks to the impotent usapa, and their demand to remain on concessionary contracts.

That is correct. Federal arbitration. M/B will not allow a 7 year temper tantrum.

Negotiate for a year to get nowhere. Mediate for a yer to get nowhere.

No the path with the most certainty is a contract first. Known costs. Arbitration and a final decision with federal law behind it.

We appreciate your invitation to come to Dallas this week and understand that the UCC wants to move quickly. We are grateful that you have called us here to offer us a chance to work together on a mutually benefical agrrement that benefits the UCC and all APA and USAPA pilots. We understand that this is business and you need to have some resolution on a couple of variables so you can make your decision about the possible merger. However, we are unable to give you any resolution on the SLI because we plan to go to arbitration and that will take two years, minimum. We respectfully request you give us a rain check to resume these talks with you in two years.

P.S. Can you please give us a couple million dollars to cover the cost of the arbitration? We promise you will be the first to know the outcome.

Umm...I see...So then; you're a distinct, seperate and indeed "special" little group out west (no argument on the "special" part from me) that will somehow, magically benefit should the APA prove themselves the "enemy" of the LCC pilots? Wow! I think we're done for the moment here. Feel free to resume ramblings about ANY others being "Delusional". 🙂
