Easties, your reps are now in possession of the knowledge that the Nicolau is the list going forward. Both the company and the UCC's counsel have made this clear to them. USAPA has been advised that they can either move forward cooperatively or be dragged along in this merger.

The beginning of the end of USAPA is just a matter of days away.

Have you boys puzzled out yet why the CEO, president and lawyer for the UCC is going to address usapa.

We all agree that the creditors want certainty and to those types certainty is known cost and timelines.

The Nicolau is a know cost and timeline. It is done. The east is the only group that does not want to use the Nicolau. Negotiating for something other than the Nicolau will involve an unknown timeline. Usapa has been impossible to deal with on any negotiations. Those seniority negotiations could drag on for another year and still end up in court. The cost of C&R is uncertain. The time wasted negotiating seniority is time wasted getting the usair pilots on a new contract and time delayed going into the next seniority a arbitration waiting for this one. The APA pilots are not going to just sit around while usapa stomps your feet and holds your breath trying to get something you were ever going to get.

No boys it is always better to deliver bad news in person. That way there is no room for misunderstanding or what you guys have been living on, looking for that little bit of wiggle room. If Parker was going to agree to DOH he would just send a letter and scheduled of meetings.

The lawyer for the UCC is going to tell the BPR he does not care what went on prior to this it did not involve him or his money. But this mess will stop. The east made an agreement, it is time to live up to that agreement. The creditors want certainty. Take the new contract and pay raise and move on. Kindergarten time is over. The adults have entered the room and are putting an end to irresponsible union leadership.

Could it be that 12/21/12 marking the end of the world really means the end of usapa and the Nicolau being the list. Even the Myans knew 2000 years ago usapa would fail.

Where is that smily face button?

Today could very well be the Worst day in the young dysfunctional life of USAPA. I doubt very much any party to the proposed merger is interested in continuing the retracted court battles. Sure. The Easties can sue if they use the Nic. See how far they get. $100.00 says dismissed with prejudice. Leonidis on the other hand, has the trump card.

Yep. Parker and Kirby are reading USAPA the riot act, as we speak. The creation of the world's largest commercial aviation entity, equity to the Creditors, and the payday for upper management are all hanging in the balance over a failed bargaining position of an old labor union, years past. Settle down and chill, in fact stop jumping the gun. We will all get news soon, good or bad. And if the past repeats, you will read about it first in the press, not here or in some union update.Greeter

What you call "a failed bargaining position", the rest of the world and the legal community as per the RLA status quo provisions, call the only legally accepted system seniority list at LCC.

The riot act is not being read, the Railway labor act is being quoted, and the failed usapa is not holding anything in the balance, other than the responsibility of 5 years of lost wages and benefits for the pilots it had the duty of fair representation.

Please provide their successes, just one, after their home town Judge Wake ruling that was dismissed. Please bring up the Rico, make my day.

I will bite.....

Ever heard of CAPA? Word is the APA is a member.

"Keep your friends close"..........

And Claxon......when all is said and done....usapa supporters are still scabs....even if their names don't appear on the master list.

Coming from a guy who works 8 days a month and is senior to you Jamie.

I was a Captain in 2001.
Seniority doesn't mean anything to you, DAN! So why should it be of any consequence to you.

BTW, I was a Captain in 1999, so where were you?

I'm on call, and I have worked ONE DAY so far this month worth 3:34.

Still I've been a "Captain" longer than you ever have. Who is more experienced and is MORE qualified? I'm not "chest thumping" here, I'm trying to drive home a point that somehow seems to fly over your head consistently.

You simply disrespect fellow PILOTS and it's really that simple. Your argument has no logical basis in any fact.

What a douche bag. Pretty sad that a 4th stripe means so much. Get a life.

I treat everyone I work with respectfully.

I don't respect what the majority of my fellow pilots have done and neither does the rest of the industry.
That may be your view, but the you don't speak for he "rest of the industry".

As far as treating everyone at work respectfully I know of those who view you differently.

BTW, where's those cases? Still waiting.
