The courts have said it doesn't have to be the Nic(DFR and all that yada yada), but I don't think I saw any court say it can't be the NIC either.

Last I looked, DOH isn't implemented either. I figure the worst thing that could happen is 3 seperate lists being used. Of course I should know better than using a phrase like 'the worst that could happen,' I could be shocked lol.

Nothing would surprise me, other than usapa's DOH list being used that is. I'll just keep on keepin on and see how it goes down.

The Nicolau Award is the seniority list per the contract until it is modified with the consent of the company or replaced in a new contract. Good luck getting either of those two done before the merger.

No, more like the Nicolau List, IF it were presented by USAPA to the Company, would have to be memorialized in a JCBA before it could be carried forward into the AA merger. THAT, is the most likely outcome. You have to get your East -West contract with the Nic in it and ratified BEFORE an AA transaction for it to stick. That , is not happening.

There is no veto or majority say so in the TA....after the arbitration, that was it, the company accepted the Nic as the combined list. The Nic is the status quo at LCC.

Per the TA, absence of a JCBA has no bearing on system seniority.

So,let's just wait and see if there is a merger, then let's see if usapa lasts long enough to make fools of themselves and harm all LCC pilots, then let's watch the Nic get integrated with the AMR pilots.

Nowhere. That's why that would surprise me if it came to pass. All I was trying to say is that I think many east pilots on this board at least are putting to much weight on the fact that the 9th and Silver said it doesn't have to be the NIC. I think it's going to be the NIC, but it would also not surprise me if somehow usapa got away with using an east and west list.

I'll do what is within my power, which is simply funding Leonidas, to keep usapa from succeeding in unilaterally deciding what is 'fair' for me. That is my main goal, not the NIC just because I gotta have the NIC. If usapa succeeds in using an east and west list, that wouldn't quite be reaching my goal, but I wouldn't exactly have much trouble moving on from that either.
