Delta Labor Relations thread.

except 1AA  when someone like the long lost cuz Jerry glass is the one doing the stalling    I cant say whether or not he helped DL  but at US he is well known for stalling as long as possible

Except for this last time, where unionized employees are running to their unions saying please, we want DL wages.......Opps!

At American, isn't the mantra "DL +7". Meanwhile, Parker's already stated " DL +3"!
Maybe after 3 years of negotiations, they might see +2!

Personally I hope they get DL +20!
FWIW a lot. It seemed like Eastern was always chasing Delta in pay.
Delta has always gotten its "concessions" if you want to call it that from work rules that increase productivity. As i have said before said before i have no problem with this but the 1950s union way of thinking does.

and I also hope they get Delta + 20. I would love to see United and American get great pay raises, better work rules, more in the 401K and great scope.
Because Delta will then match if not go a little above.

Sadly under the IAM UsAir amt's were the lowest paid until the merger. They were brought up to average pay. No leapfrogging. The TWU? Man I can't even list the things it did to screw the membership. It's amazing that we AMT'S at AA have made more attempts to dump the TWU than Delta has tried to get any industrial union on the property. That speaks volumes about the employees at Delta Airlines and their desire to unionize. Face it Delta folks are happy without unions. If not they would have been unionized long ago. Card drives are fast if they were to be mad enough and willing enough to seek union representation. Not happening.
not just lower paid.
US has been a drag on our craft since before the first BK.

oh and its air lines

Pete...do u ever think before u post? This post of yours truly speaks of your character
I think she thinks

but as I have said before its clear she is in the I got mine crowd.

I'm willing to bet the moment Delta starts talking about outsourcing pete the tune around here is going to change real quick.  IMO that is the problem with a lot of people in our industry right now.

people like that will destroy this industry. They worry about getting in, getting paid and getting out. piss on the person below them. They only time they care about junior people is bidding and layoffs, and even then they don't "care" they are just happy they have the buffer between them and the band saw.

Misinformation once again.

AA made all the unions waive their LPPs, the APFA and the IAM had a seniority agreement and the APFA backed out and stapled them, not the IAM.

The IAM stil fought for them and spent millions in legal fees, but the courts ruled in favor of the APFA.

You just gotta love that IAM huh?  700 claims that it was someone else. Wow...
You are another one who goes out of their way to slam the IAM, amazing you cant even look up the truth, and want to believe an anti-union post.

And what happened at TWA also caused a federal law McCaskill-Bond to prevent what happened.

Go ask ALPA what happened to their pilots and learn to read the Kasher Decision.

The TWA attendants had been represented by the International Association of Machinists, but when they became AMR employees, their new union put them at the bottom of American's seniority list. That made the TWA veterans _ some with decades of experience _ vulnerable to layoffs.

I have to think she'll only care about any outsourcing if/when it affects her. Until then, we'll get to hear all sorts of rationalizations...

Is the owner of that site still getting "assistance" from the NRTW foundation?

And your point is?

Facts are facts.

And you posted lies and misinformation and you conveniently once again, skip the facts and totally ignore the post.

So keep up your lies and misinformation, thats why you have ZERO Credibility.

Facts are facts, you trying to twist yourself into a pretzel defending them, proves just that.

So what's the problem with hearing BOTH sides of the story?

Lies and misinformation, from an anti-union site, is not the other side of the story.

Your not Paul Harvey.
