Delta Labor Relations thread.

Away from benefitted positions...

I really wish we had a way to gauge all the comparison numbers for Fleet in the industry. They're not updating Airline Financials anymore and even then there were no charts for Fleet.

The only way unfortunately to do it is to have members in each location do the head count and pass those numbers on to each other.

Death by attrition. But I guess if you're part of another workgroup that you believe will never be affected why should there be any reason to care?

Kev,

Here is what I heard.

Anyone can transfer to any hub except ATL. Ready reserves can transfer to any station that has openings for ready reserve. Not sure what other moving packages were but you can either move yourself with a cash sum or have Delta pay the move and still get some cash. There is a weight limit if the company moves and depending on the distance they will also ship 2 vehicles.

The tdy's I know of was Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard this past summer. They have a deice crew badged for BOS and they go when a storm is predicted. There are probably others that I never heard of.

I don't know about your seniority question and probably nobody will know until they know who is willing to transfer.

The only jobs affected are above and below wing and cargo.

We are not affected in GSE by this cut. We take care of 38 stations out of our crew here. They are talking about giving up to 12 of our farthest stations to the GSE contractor because we lost 3 techs this past year and they are not going to replace them. One went to Nashville, and one to Richmond when they opened GSE in those stations. The other was an aircraft tech that went to the line in DTW.

DGS already does cabin service so maybe that makes it easier for cargo? Delta ramp will still drive the cargo so it will only be the jobs in the warehouse.

Only to the illiterate.  For people familiar with the English language and the law, they all mean something different.

For the third time why did the DOL only file a civil complaint and not criminal?

If it was an evil corporation they would have been perp walked in front of all the news camera's.

But since (unions in general) are essentially private slush funds for the DNC then no harm no foul.

You know how it goes....

Wrong again it's illegal for dues money to be given to a candidate or a party.

So let me ask you once again, why did that DOL only file a civil complaint and not a criminal one?

Be that as it may, there's an awful lot of labor unions who give substantially more to one side then the other.

Only to benefit from DNC allowing them to move in and destroy the american workplace.

Its pretty well known.

Still doesn't give you an "employment contract"

I hope your Master continues to give you those nice meaty bones and the occasional pat on the head as you wag your tail and pant for him.

So petey why did the DOL only file a civil complaint and not criminal?
