Forget it Ken, they still have not addressed Mechanics wages vs CPI or the question on the $3.1 million the company pays the TWU!

They are too busy preparing smoke and mirrors "communication, communication, communication" videos.

The dumdasses cannot answer questions right now. They are too busy pretending to change.

I asked for an answer to a simple question. Why are all twu international positions APPOINTED instead of elected by the full membership?

"McWinnie"? Not only are YOU a coward but an unprofessional one at that.

Ken,

I can appreaciate your concern but you and I and anyone else paying scant attention knows that these individuals avoid all legitimate discourse.. Just as rats and roaches avoid light these particular rodents avoid the truth and your questions because they lack the character, intelligence and integrity to operate above board..They certainly cannot identify themselves after making so many ignorant statements here now can they?? Cowards prefer darkness as do liars, cheats and those with something to hide.. Now I ask you " What are they hiding??"

Some here cannot and will not defend their postions and instead respond to questions in a childish manner.. They operate under the premise that its easier to avoid the question or perhaps deflect the topic by using disparaging remarks aimed at the author, make no mistake this is deliberate and easy to recognize..
I suggest ignoring those few and remain on a high road of straight talk and information with references and documentation always.. In that environment they cannot survive, ignore all their taunts and negatives.. Do not be drawn into their game, instead overwhelm them with truth taken directly from the contract and minutes of the Internation conventions..

Then there are the functional illiterates, they possess a basic knowledge but are easily confused and lash out in anger much like the scabcrapper.. Most of what this poor thing writes is barely legible and appears as though composed by a very young very angry teenager.. You'd be surprised but many men have little understanding of the contract or the TWU..

As an experiment in Tulsa we asked people at random " Name the president of TWU International" saddly less than 50% could do this and to this day many have no idea of how much was given away via the concessions.. Some are still under the impression the company must provide 7 days notice prior to shift change.. I realize this is a small item but its just telling of the lack of understanding regarding what's been done here..

Ladies and Gents we read them all here so think about what you want to say and respond in a truthful manner and leave the play ground B.S. outside..

 Jim 4D Tulsa

Jim, I find it funny how Ken demands the disclosure of the idenity of the posters within this forum. He responds to all alias's, and then try's to discredit the message they proffess due to the lack of true identity. Why does he respond? He alone think's that he is the only one to proffess a credible message because he posts under his own identity. He's a funny guy, Jim...!

And further more Jim, you need to read Article #21 of the TWU/AA agreement before you disperse any more of your contractural knowledge.....

While I will agree it appears seven (7) day notice of change of shift is still required by the labor agreement.

What good is reading the Article #21 of the Contract when all you get from Officers and Stewards is "They can do that Brother"?

Why place any confidence in today's contract language when Jim Little can amend or modify that language without ratification? (See Local 562 vs TWU New York)

How do you know there isn't some unratified letter of agreement that dissolves the 7 day notice?

RE: Information – Shared Sacrifice - Restructuring

Dear Jim:

As you know, we have had on-going discussions regarding the 2003 restructuring agreement and the issue of “Shared Sacrifice.â€￾ A few weeks ago, Jeff Brundage, Senior Vice President Human Resources assured us that finance was in the process of putting together an analysis of a cross section of Management concessions as compared to the labor concessions.

We again raised the issues at the May 19, 2004 Stockholders Meeting and also at the follow-up meeting with Mr. Arpey.

Jim, as you well know we all are aware of the shared sacrifice that Mr. Arpey and the Senior Management has taken. However, although we have been advised that Management’s share across the board is reflective of our members’ sacrifices, we have yet to be giving this breakdown.

Bottom line, our members, as equal partners in avoiding bankruptcy, deserves the information. What is absolutely unacceptable is that our members and all labor groups had to have the entire restructuring agreement completed in less time than it is taking American Airlines to provide us with the comparison, which is the benchmark of credibility.

We can no longer continue to accept more excuses. Therefore, if the information is not received in our office by Monday, June 28, 2004 we will take whatever action we deem appropriate considering that Shared Sacrifice did not occur.

Sincerely,

JIM LITTLE DEMANDS AGAIN...

...the saga...

VIA FACSIMILE & U.S. MAIL

Mr. Jeff Brundage
Vice President ER
American Airlines, Inc.
PO Box 616616 MD 5235

Dear Jeff:

On April 22, 2004 both the TWU and AMFA filed objections to the Company’s list of eligible voters. In reviewing AMFA’s submission to the NMB, it is clear that American Airlines Management has provided AMFA with access to our member’s confidential payroll and personnel records.

As you know, no TWU Official has access to this information, and by doing so without Management approval would be a violation of Company Policy as well as State and Federal laws. Moreover, it is clear that the bulk of this material could not have been secured without use of Company computers and the acquiescence of at least some Managers. We strenuously object to a Union with no representation at American Airlines having access to Company resources including access to Auto TA, work history, payroll records, corporate employee information system – Supervisors record of discussion and action (C23), TWA employee OJT history, TWA time and attendance, payroll transaction records (PTR), employee travel and family eligibility records, and various internal American Airlines documents, particularly under circumstances where TWU and its representatives have no access and would be subject to discipline under Rule 29 if we procured such records.

In order for us to respond to AMFA’s objections to the NMB as well as omissions in your list, we demand the same access to information and Company resources immediately that AMFA was allowed.

Sincerely,

James C. Little
