I got an unofficial e-mail that said 84 to CLT, 206 to PHL, 14 to DCA from PIT.
I forgot to say 1 to LGA and O to BOS.....just what I was told.....sky high states: Those stats reflect comments out on the line. Majority---> PHL.
only stating opinions
So how are they all going to get to PHL? Are they planning on taking Greyhound?I got an unofficial e-mail that said 84 to CLT, 206 to PHL, 14 to DCA from PIT. Why hasn't AFA sent anything out ????
So how are they all going to get to PHL? Are they planning on taking Greyhound?
Good thing no other employees want to non-rev into Pittsburgh. I can see MDT and LGA seeing more of the commuters passing through. So how are they all going to get to PHL? Are they planning on taking Greyhound?
where do people expect them to go? it's not their fault the base closed. they gotta go somewhere. All I have to say it don't expect to be welcomed in PHL with open arms. There are a lot of pissed off people here because all of these people are pushing them down.
The reality of life is that people are only concerened with what affects them. The people who are going to be displaced or go back on reserve because of these people coming in care about one thing, themselves and are pissed. So don't expect the them to be all warm and fuzzy to these people. That is reality. Not everyone chugs the Kool Aide like you etops.where do people expect them to go? it's not their fault the base closed. they gotta go somewhere.
they can't fault them for coming to phl . it's where all the good flying is at .if others were in there position they would do the same thing. hey, i am getting bumped too . but it's the way it is . live with it. don't mean to sound harsh but it's reality.
Do you think these people are HAPPY about now having to commute ? Do you think they should quit their jobs so that YOU can stay a block holder ? I am getting bumped down too but I know it's not their fault. I'm sure they would much rather stay in PIT if the base remained open. You've posted on here that you are a single mom w/ two kids and can not live on this reserve system, perhaps this is no longer the job for you because the salary is just not enough. I plan on welcoming the PIT people...I was based there at one time and it will be great to see everyone again. I'm not going to blame them for what management did and neither should you.The reality of life is that people are only concerened with what affects them. I wish my worries were as simple as losing my block . I am on reserve and face yet again being displaced. Everyone on here can say oh how they welcome everyone, blah blah but deep down they resent these people coming in and eveyone knows it. I was one of the previous diplacments from PIT and nobody seemed to care about us nor did they make any special accomadations like they are doing for these people. Oh by the way let me make my decisions on what is good for me and my kids.Do you think these people are HAPPY about now having to commute ?
