Early PIT transfer numbers

Letter of agreement

In the event that the Airline Parties intend to open or close a domicile or
satellite domicile, the Airline Parties will meet and confer with the
Association and share the analysis upon which the decision is based. The
Airline Parties may close the affected domicile or satellite domicile if the
analysis upon which the decision is based establishes that there is a cost
savings generated by the closing.

Didn't ALPO file a grievance about the way the base closing was done w/o warning ? I thought it was to be heard at the beginning of this month ....any news ???

They were hoping to have a one-day hearing, but the company legal eagle was late getting there and had to leave early so didn't accomplish that. Another day or two of hearings are scheduled for later this month.

PIT DISPLACEMENT AWARDS

The PIT displacement awards are available on the hub at:

http://thehub.usairways.com/divisions/oper...light/PDF/2007/
publications_PITDisplacementAwards_Nov2007.pdf

The awards listed on the hub include both active and inactive Flight Attendants.

Below is the breakdown of active PIT Flight Attendant displacements by month and base:

JANUARY FEBRUARY MARCH
PIT- PHL 12 128 71
PIT - CLT 8 41 35
PIT – DCA 0 10 3
PIT – LGA 0 1 0
PIT – BOS 0 0 0

The closure of the PIT domicile has a lot of moving parts associated with it. The majority of PIT flying will move to CLT and DCA beginning in January. The Separation Package bid will not close until December 12 with release dates for those awarded a Separation Package beginning in March. In an effort to limit further displacements, it is anticipated that VPLOA and TDY will be used to balance domicile staffing in the coming months. More information will be forthcoming as it becomes available.

I hope to God they decide to give vploa. that way i can seriously look for something wich will have retirement, and an actual pay..........

Displacement were postponed until February and THEY CRIED that they cannot live on 73 hour guarantee like the rest of us have been FOR YEARS!!!!!!!

Special arrangements were made for 50 to voluntarily displace themselves in January which is why YOU are losing your block!!!

Etops, you should be p!ssed off too!

Why are they so special that they can't make it and everyone else is expected too!!!!!

I say f$#@k them too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They caused 50 people to lose their blocks EARLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
think about this these same 50 people who cried to MIKE by the way. were they b/h in pit? from what i heard there were only a few b/h out of pit and 20-22 years with the company and reserve. so if they were part of the reserve crew out of pit they were not flying and living on 73 hour guarantee. I would like to know if this "50" group were reserve out of PIT
