Generalizations and the use "you people" as well as the misconcesption that a coworker is a customer shows that you have a lot to learn. Put yourself in Malikie's position for 8 hours on any given day when there is bad weather and crew shortages. Listen to the way you are treated, and then come back and post.
Honestly if you are from the east you have no idea. You would be in "shock and awe" if you heard what goes on over here. The minute you decide that you are going to question what is going on with a scheduler or excercise your contractual rights these people get down right mean and nasty. I have always prided myself on being prefessional with scheduling no matter what. I have heard personally, a few male schedulers down right scream at flight attendants when questioned about a reroute or calling to be released. This one time sitting hot reserve at the airport I picked up the phone to have our group released the scheduler picked up the phone yelled "your released!" and hung up. He didn't state his name... nothing. Its not right.
