Do you think election year has anything to do with the way the judge decides this bankruptcy case? It's really quite with the TWU with election year. I remember for years they were pushing workers on who to vote for in white house.

We used to get phone calls quite often during election years, until one night about three years ago. The pollster asked who we were going to vote for and my wife replied that we wait until we get a letter from the union telling us who to vote for and we vote against those candidates. You could have cut the silence with a knife and they just hung up. NO MORE CALLS! Unions have place in politics because we give money who will give them lip service, 99% Democrat and then they forget about us until the next time. AMFA is non-political, let our members vote for who they believe in, we are grown adults with minds of our own!!

I have heard that a disturbance up to and including Presidential Emergency Board will not be tolerated, in a reelection year.

Another $300 million tax proposal from Tulsa for AA bailout:

Just think how they will feel when AA is making billions in profit after getting a tax break.

Have faith brother, the company will return the generosity of the city a hundred fold, because you surely are not going to get anything.

And what you mean by returning a hundred fold is our Employed brothers / sisters paying taxes and spending their hard earned cash in Tulsa

Hard Earned Cash?

I don't know what kind of cool aid you are drinking, but I want some!

No, I meant the company staying here and providing a service for the community. If you read the Tulsa World newspaper concerning the bond issue the comments section, there are many who do not want the issue to pass. The question remains whether labor is going to be helped by the current administration, like the TWU believes.

The only hope the TWU or any of us could hope for from any adminsitration are changes to the RLA and bankruptcy laws.
I think we are being out-lobbied by large corporations a little bit so I'm not holding my breath.

The citizens of Tulsa should be pissed. Their taxes will subsidize AA as it soars to obscene profits in 2014.Yet another sorry example of the greed of corporations these days.

AA89,
Your correct son about the greedy corperations today. But I never hear Imhofe or Cochran say such things.
They only say its Obamas fault !
I'm confused.
