First Class Pax Personal Property Stolen In Clt

Where is your proof it happened?

Maybe because I represented people back then and each rep on each shift keeps each other informed of what goes on.

And like I said, what about the fact that the lead and the foreman keep a record of who is assigned to each gate?

Don't let that fact get in your way. And why can't you stick to the topic at hand, instead of deflecting and bringing something up that has nothing to do with the thread?

You wouldn't know a fact if you tripped over it. I feel sorry for those people you "represented" and maybe you should go back and read the post where I said it was bungled. Do you know what that means?? I'm sure you do.

Maybe it was a ex 3rd shift utility guy that thought is was ok to play finders keepers on on the other shifts too?

Back in November there was still a third shift.

Try again.

That type of "Blind Defense" is part of the reason that union membership is in decline in the USA. The American Public is essentially fair minded. Hell they forgave Nixon, but the idea that someone who is not carrying their fair share of the load is just inherently wrong and violates their sense of fairness.

Unions with a Duty of Fair Representation have created the perception that they protect and even encourage bad employees. This violates that same sense of fairness that is the cornerstone of the psyche of the US citizen.

While I am not sure that the "Duty of Fair Representation " has anything to do with the decline in union membership I agree and have said before the greatest evils of the union is keeping someone not carrying their fair share aboard. Then again you could make the case the employer isn't doing their job weeding them out. Unions really don't have a choice with the Duty of Fair Representation the members pay their dues for that representation. Just as the US constitution protects the rights of it citizens and non-citizens alike.

The Duty of Fair Representation

Try what again? I was making joke and hadn't got to the post that said it happened in Nov. Besides did I say there wasn't a 3rd shift? No! I just said a ex 3rd shift guy meaning he could have changed shifts. There you go jumping to conclusions or don't let facts get in the way.

What I can say for a fact is I know the person got reimbursed the money from the company in the amount of several hundred dollars.

a dishonest utility person.

I am confused, you tell us the only thing you know for fact is the person got reimbursed yet you are saying the utility guy is dishonest?

I'm confused why you're confused. I know for a fact that the pax was reimbursed the money for the lost items. I also know for a fact the f/a gave the items to utility and when the pax went back to pick up his items he left behind the f/a said she had found them and turned them over to utility. That is when they made their mysterious disappearing act. Anyway there is one quick way to clear it all up. The money was sent from CLT so if anyone wants proof of it being paid then look to CLT management for the answer. My guess would be to first check with baggage service to see if they have any record of it. My guess would be they would. Then check with the management who would issue the check and see if it was sent as well as the documentation behind the authorization. That should be proof enough for most people but for others nothing would be proof enough.

Facts?

Were you on the airplane and witnessed when the F/A allegedly gave it to the utility person?

Seems no one was fired or disciplined for it, so your facts are actually only accusations.

And like I have said there are records of who worked what gate on what day and what shift, but conveniently you say the investigation was bungled, very interesting.

But something smells rotten in denmark to me.

Records are only as good as the people keeping them so try again.
Yes the investigation was bungled. So what? That shouldn't be surprising to you. You have no idea about anything 700 yet no matter the subject you're always right. If you're the great truth detector go find out for yourself Mr. Wonderful. Go ask the questions. My guess is you won't because you know I could be right and we all know you can't stand anyone being right unless of course it's you.

Why dont you produce real facts?

You can't produce any, and all of the manpower shift reports are on file in the maintenance office and in the shared file of the maintenance computer system that management uses to make the manpower sheets.

Don't let the facts or the truth get in your way.

Like I said before you wouldn't know a fact if you tripped over it. Go check for yourself and see.

Why do you keep failing to provide facts?

All you keep doing is posting your own statements, which are not facts, I have provided details on how they can find out who was working a particular gate on what day and shift, yet you say the investigation was blundered.

And you keep trying to bring other subjects into this debate, which have nothing to do with the topic in this thread, is it because you don't have any facts that this happened?

Keep trying.

I provided a way for you to go check for yourself. What's stopping you from doing it? Afraid of what you'll find out?? hmmmmm?? I'm sure you won't because you'll be proven wrong. Despite your rantings it happened and you can't change it 700. Go see for yourself and then maybe you'll understand. In the meantime I won't hold my breath.
