First Class Pax Personal Property Stolen In Clt

I have all ready checked with all the Utility Shop Stewards and no one has been called in to the office and been investigated.

Like I said, I have provided the exact way to find out who was on the that gate on that day and that shift.

Yet you provide nothing except an accusation.

Now there is an ongoing investigation into duty free money missing of a LGW flight around one month ago.

You just dislike utility and the IAM so I guess this is your way of an non-employee like yourself to try and discredit utility and the IAM.

I didn't think you would go check. You can do it on the sly and no one will know 700. Do it for yourself. You'll feel better.
As for disliking uitility...not at all. I dislike the IAM because of the money they took from their members was squandered and the way they were represented wasn't comensurate with the money they paid in dues. I don't have to discredit the utility and the IAM. You take care of that part all by yourself.

Keep dodging the issue and keep trying to deflect.

Guess the economic realities of the industry does not mean anything to someone who is not an employee of US Airways.

Provide us with some hard and real facts, otherwise I am done with you, I have shown the whole board your real intent.

Have a nice day. 😀

You haven't shown anybody anything. I'm not dodging anything. I told you how to prove me wrong so go ahead and prove it to the whole board!! I DARE YOU!

ps...you almost done with your speech at the rally. Everyone in the CLT area is ready for the wind to die down.

I have provided the exact way for management, the police and corportate security on how to track down who was working that flight that day.

The only thing you have provided was an accusation, no other proof.

And like I all you keep trying to do is dodge and deflect, yet you can never stick to the topic at hand when you are shown to be only posting your version of an alleged event.

Why don't you two hold hands and go find out together and give us all the truth when you find out? Like Piney would say PERIOD.

Reminds me of the time I was connecting throught PHL and my checked bag was NEVER found. It was a very disappointing, frustrating experience . Fortunately, the rules had changed where employees could file a claim, which I did and was reimbursed. Question.........what happens in a case of bag switch....ie., when a passenger picks up a similar bag but it doesn't belong to him ...does the ATO figure out what was checked by whom and try to contact that person?? Just curious, this happened recently with a guitar and I happened to get the call in Res. Thanks

 I am so very disapointed in everyone involved. I remember a time when ALL U employees would bend over backwards to return things to pax. I received a call one night from a frantic mother who's child had accidently left her stuffed bunny on a plane. I could hear the child crying in the background. I felt bad for her and decided to try and contact the gate and see if it had been turned in. Low and behold the flight attendant had found the bunny and turned it into the gate agent who was just about to take it to baggage claim. I gave the agent the mother's name and told her she would be on her way to pick up the bunny by way of the airport shuttle. I can't begin to tell you the relief I heard in the mother's voice and how many times she thanked me for locating the bunny. Of course, I got repremanded for using my talk time to help the pax. But hey--I felt good and the little girl probably got to sleep that night.

Many times the person missing a bag says, "it looks just like this one" and you start from there. You check to see if the person owning the bag left over had other bags checked and if they are still there or were claimed. You then usually call the person and say to check your bag since we have one with your name on it here. Most times they are embarrassed and will bring the bag back asap. Occasionally they get snippy and say to deliver theirs and we can have the one they took. All you usually have to do in that case is say no, you took the wrong bag, bring it back and you can get yours or the info will be forwarded to the passenger to file a police report for theft of their bag. Amazing how quickly the "wrong" bag appears back in the office!

Agreed! But I guess CCY has been busy these paste 25 years or so thinking up fare rules to punish the very people who ultimately ensure their employment.

Gee Bob... 25 years ago they were telling the employees to figure out how to spell deregulation, in order to give mgt time to figure out how to make a profit by reducing employee wages by 75%.

Beatings for customers didn't even enter mgts mind until the 90s!!

Phoenix
