Getting Ugly In Phl

can't we all just get along? If this kind of stuff costs us customers... it should not be tolerated.

I agree Happy however you have alot to learn about Philly - It's not like the cheesesteak honey - good to the last drop - the meat there is tough with alot of marbling - if you know what I mean, Philly is tough in general and people don't take things lightly - You might want to change your handle after doing a PHL RON, Welcome to the new USAir - we have many different cultures from the west (PSA) to the hills of PA with Allegheny to the southern blue ridge mountains of the carolinas with Piedmont and then we got a bit of the Fabulous TRUMP and now AWA from the flat desert - so if you have never dealt with attitude from the NE - not everyone but most - you are in for a shock - STAND CLEAR - Welcome to Philthadelphia!! Get on Board - Phoenix we have a problem!!!!

No "dude" the answer is to do what is necessary to serve the public without them ever being aware there is a union.

Why!

Are you ashamed to be associated with a blue collar group that got you something better than minimum wage?

If management assumes they can count on unscrupuless pilot jerk-offs to cover for their cost-cutting, profit enhancing practices than we are truly headed past and below the bottom.

I reinterate- PHL is PHL, not USeast.
The rest of us are pretty normal, especially the Southern Division.

IMHO, the "southern division" is actually quite worse than PHL.

I don't know how many PI f/as I've had to take aside and tell them to back off, shut up, if they want to run the trip, to bid something else. The agents, at least many, are unreliable, at best. The pilots, sigh, responsible for the many ICAO transgressions outside the US. I don't know how many cargo loads I've had to refuse because of improper packaging/loading/identification.

Ignorance seems to be considered a "virtue" in CLT. Why else would someone like AC survive?

I don't think many of you understand what was actually going on in PHL. These trainers, ramp supervisors(management), were actually lurking around the a/c waiting for an opening and then jumping in to load mail and freight when they thought no one was looking. This was not critical to the operation as it was occuring over an hour before departure time. They were laughing about it until they were caught. Then they accused a lead of cursing at them, when that clearly didn't happen. He just asked them not to load the a/c anymore. Station management also asked them not to do fleet service work any more and they agreed, however, they continued to do the work. Finally, last night it came to a head. They were caught again doing FSA work and the union chairman hit the roof. Today, they are no longer in PHL!

These guys repeatedly and willfully violated the CBA, station management directives, and probably their own former HP rules by doing what they did.

They should never have antagonized the PHL agents- bad move.

Please let the pilots know what is going on. More and more of us, both Capt and F?O, are willing to set the parking brake over such behavior.

I have Lakefields cell, you know, the one in his golf bag. I love jerking his royal ass off. He is such a freakizoid.

We can choose to be a part of the problem or part of the solution. There are plenty of people that want to be a part of the solution. Those spreading the virus will be short lived either way.

Collective Bargaining Agreement
The contract agreed to by unions (representing employees) and management, defining wages, hours, benefits, and working conditions. Under the RLA, collective-bargaining agreements become subject to change on a specified date (amendable date), rather than expiring as agreements do in other employment sectors.
