And I have worked the ramp before and I have been on the ramp in PHL numerous times and I have friends who work it.

And the situation has been discussed at numerous meetings.

OMG...who cares..? I, for one, AM sympathetic to your cause...not the actions you're prescribing (or lack thereof)...and I find myself lost in the mystery of what you do....and absolutely couldn't care less....

Do yourself and this company a favor...communicate your plight in PHL, or whoever's plight it is if youre not in PHL, to Doug Parker...remind him of the delegation to Crellin that he did, there's no change yet, and can he assist you in any way getting proper equipment in PHL to do the job they are asked to do.
Have you or any of your friends in PHL done this yet? If not, why not?
Or, are you guys secretly hoping the place will just implode to prove a point?

Two things seem clear from this discussion:
1. The HP folks, whether well-intentioned or otherwise, didn't approach the situation as they should have by discussing their plans and purposes in advance. This would have fostered a rapport and understanding, rather than the resulting opposite.
2. From some of the comments here, I doubt the above would have made a difference. It seems regardless of how the situation was approached, the HP folks would have received much the same response. Perhaps a management of jerks has simply cultivated, in their own image, a work group of the same.
