And if you are working a 5 hour flight from PHL-PHX, it is a 3 beverage flight. Cans, water and BOB serivce and another full cup service before landing. At least that is the way West does it. I think that is why we are called "Stepfords!" LOL

This is where the whole inconsistency thing really gets to me. On west transcons to PHX from BWI, DCA, PHL, BOS, JFK, EWR, etc., this has ALWAYS been the procedure. Get the full can, get the Buy On Board, get some water, then a cup about an hour outside PHX. Not too hard, but nice a the same time. It seems like the FA's (and the airline for that matter) care about you and want to give you good service. Then I get on some east flights and it is a cup, BOB, and then some water later (if that) and thats it. Then I feel neglected.

When will all inflight procedures be exactly the same for both sides? Please tell me it is soon.

I do believe it is slated for January 2008. As to when it really happens is another story.

I am so sick and tired of the catering BS that goes on. I was so fed up on the E190 that I took the flimsy deep blue drawers and threw them on the jetway in a trash bag a caterer gave me. I am OVER it. I don't let it consume me before someone on here tells me to "cry" about something else. I like some that I have heard would NEVER refuse a customer that last can. When it's gone it's gone. The majority STILL don't do the new airbus galley topper CRAP. It won't change. Will simply be a life of rearranging in the back galley. 🙄

IMO they should NOT be used to punish but rather polish performance.

In a regular company I would agree with you, but there is an urget need to get rid of the nasty, old and lazy F/A. We just pay too much for these F/A.

I don't think the program is designed to get rid of anybody. It will motivate some people who are not doing their job into doing their job and put more pressure onto those who don't to do their job.

Just look how bad the service has become on international flights. Ok, I understand the service is limited but it's the same basically as before the fence came down. The push pull in each direction to Europe and back? Yeah it's senior for the majority besides your stray daily called reserves or ETB'rs. We have seriously lazy junior folks too on domestic. Don't get me wrong. Let's weed them ALL OUT. I HATE working with a lazy f/a and don't hesitate to get my message across when working with them either. Sorry I won't pull your weight and I don't care if you EVER talk to me again. Fine with me. I'll give the evil stare right back atcha as I stir my coffee. 😉
