Its hard to get true coverage of Islamic issues in Europe from the media here.....we have sensitivities you know......on the net, yes.

How many mosques did you see? When I was there, and it was not a two week vacation, I saw none.

In regards to the US possibly becoming a radical Islamic country there's only one way that would happen, if we actually allow it. Are you going to convert to that ideology dell? I know I have no interest and I'm going to guess that most people in the USA are not either. Including those who are Muslim.

Here's the important difference between us and Europe. Someone from Asia, Africa or the Middle East can immigrate to England, France Germany etc. They can become citizens and their kids can talk with an English, French or German accent. However they will never truly be an Englishman, Frenchman or German any more than I could. That probably leads to feelings of isolation/alienation amongst some of those immigrants and that's where you have your problems.

If they come here they can become an American and be just as American as you or I. The only difference is they can't run for President. Which I doubt will cause any problems

I was referring to news Mr Peabody......getting news from anyhwere other than here on issues like Islam in Europe is a lightly covered subject on our news media.

You can sit on the internet all day and not understand Europe.

You can go there as many times as I have and not understand it either.

But you can experience how they live, and to a degree, why they live that way.

Don't you have more important things to fret about than Islam in Europe?

I do not fret......the sad part that you and others over look or just flat out ignore is this country, on the progressive side, bending over backwards to accommodate Islam with little or no comprehension to what they are getting into.
Implementing Sharia law into our culture is their mission over time. Already activist progressive judges have made rulings based on Sharia Law.
Sharia doesn't work with the Constitution so the Constitution will go. Soros and Obama are working on it.
Germany,France and several other countries warned the US that multiculturalism isn't working at all and told us not to go there......Why would that be?

I don't fret but I see your persuasion welcoming it with arms wide open.

I found quite a few opinions supporting your supposition but nothing with any case law to support the idea.

Last week, Judge Lawrence P. Zatkoff, a federal district court judge in Michigan, dismissed a constitutional challenge to the U.S. Government’s bailout of AIG, which used over a hundred million dollars in federal tax money to support Islamic religious indoctrination through the funding and promotion of Sharia-compliant financing (SCF). SCF is financing that follows the dictates of Islamic law.

With the aid of taxpayer funds provided by Congress, AIG also employs a “Shariah Supervisory Committee.” According to AIG, the role of its Sharia authority “is to review our operations, supervise its development of Islamic products, and determine Shariah compliance of these products and our investments.”

Shortly after filing the complaint in 2008, attorneys for the Obama administration’s Department of Justice (DOJ) asked the court to dismiss the lawsuit on behalf of the named defendants. In a written opinion issued in May 2009, the judge denied the request, holding that the lawsuit properly alleged a federal constitutional challenge to the use of taxpayer money to fund AIG’s Islamic religious activities.
