Its hard to get true coverage of Islamic issues in Europe from the media here.....we have sensitivities you know......on the net, yes.
How many mosques did you see? When I was there, and it was not a two week vacation, I saw none.
In regards to the US possibly becoming a radical Islamic country there's only one way that would happen, if we actually allow it. Are you going to convert to that ideology dell? I know I have no interest and I'm going to guess that most people in the USA are not either. Including those who are Muslim.
Here's the important difference between us and Europe. Someone from Asia, Africa or the Middle East can immigrate to England, France Germany etc. They can become citizens and their kids can talk with an English, French or German accent. However they will never truly be an Englishman, Frenchman or German any more than I could. That probably leads to feelings of isolation/alienation amongst some of those immigrants and that's where you have your problems.
If they come here they can become an American and be just as American as you or I. The only difference is they can't run for President. Which I doubt will cause any problems
