Ask him and he has nothing to do with air transport and he is currently an AA employee.

Roach never worked a day for AA that I know for a fact. He got 100% seniority at JFK but doesn't use it. I would pay to see him work on the ramp he isn't in physical condition to stoop and crawl under the pit of an aircraft.

kev  is there any kind of union movement for mechanics and related  going on similar to the ACS and FAs?

And once again you failed to answer.

When did you survey all 11,000 FAs and come to your conclusion?

So thousands of cards signed is misguided?

The only misguided ones are people like you.

WAIT! In one breath you say "Thousands" of cards have been signed and the next, you say the IAM "Doesn't" release that information.

So which one is the lie?

So you are speaking for EVERY single FA?

When did you survey them all?

So what is this all about then?

Looks like your living room to me!

Btw, anyone can get anything printed on a pen!

Kev do you think Roach is in sufficient physical condition to work on the ramp?

Robbed the only mechanic group the IAM represents is US and they don't have a great track record.  Over the years the IAM has lost NW, UA, TW they are insignificant when it comes to airline mechanics.  If anything I think DL AMTs would sooner join AMFA than the IAM scab union, especially after what happened at NWA.

Don't know, don't care...

From the pictures I have seen he isn't in sufficient physical shape.

Why does he say he worked for TWA for 36 years? He was hired in 1975, TWA ceased to exist in 12/2001, and he became a GLR in 1995 and was involved with DL 142 before that so no way he worked the ramp up until that point.  Interestinglyenough all the IAM TWA suck ups came from JFK not LGA, MCI, STL or anywhere else. Aldofini, O'Driscoll , Pantoja, Roach, etc all worked at JFK.  700 says he is an AA employee on union leave and I am trying to see if he is on the seniority list or AA employee directory.  The IAM was the union at TWA representing all work groups except the pilots the carriers demise was of great consequence to the union and they sold out their members. DL people should educate and inform themselves of these facts before voting in the IAM.

“I first want to give you a real face of an employee coming out of bankruptcy,” said Roach. “I worked at TWA for 36 years. My retirement will be $326 a month. That’s a sad commentary for the richest country in the world. Now, I’m lucky to have a position within the union, but there are tens of thousands of people who have gone through bankruptcy in this country who no longer have pensions, who no longer have health care, who no longer know how to protect themselves and the elements they thought would be protected by working for a corporation for a long time. United Airlines, US Airways, Northwest Airlines, Hostess, Kaiser Aluminum, the list goes on and on. It should not happen that the same corporations and carriers walk away with tens of millions of dollars.”
