I think you mean that, IAM flacks were able to get 12000 cards signed (most likely illegitimately and fraudulently) to call for a vote.
 
But be that as it may, cards signed doesn't equate to sealed votes. 
 
You have to ask yourself.....how so many votes failed in the past in spite of signed cards? Strange isn't it?

The IAM protected FEWER jobs at NW than DL did.

DL FAs fared better before and during BK than NW FAs did who fared better coming to work for DL than what the IAM could do for them.

You have lived a lie for 8 years and you haven't been smart enough to know that at some point I would make it clear what you have been about and are.

You have lied and surrounded yourself with liars on this site about what the IAM has accomplished.

The IAM was voted out because DL people including your PMNW peers could clearly see that the IAM couldn't deliver and DL could.

I am here and will be here to make it clear that DL people fared better as non-union employees at every step of the way until NW was finally removed from existence and its people were paid by Delta Air Lines in ways the IAM never could have accomplished.

At least Laura Glading was honest. She has spent her whole career chasing Delta compensation. She still is.

She does is smart enough to admit the facts.

there aren't 12K people who will vote for the Machinists union when they realize that DL people did better than their peers at NW before, during, and after BK and that the DL FAs did better than their peers at NW before, during, and after BK.

there was a reason why NW's board gave DL free reign to dismantle the company.

It should speak volumes that DL has no interest in acknowledging anything about NW other than in a museum.

It's over... the PMNW employees who continue to cling to what once existed but clearly failed will never find satisfaction.

the future belongs to those who have moved on and accepted that DL and its culture survived.

Well, we all know the typical union ballot/card stuffing happens all the time. Are all the cards legit? Nope, past history proves otherwise.

Actually, I think the exact opposite. My (our) peers are intelligent, career minded people interested in furthering both their own careers and their respective professions.

then the intelligent decision is to stay far away from further unionization, esp. the IAM which has destroyed thousands of jobs and failed to do anywhere near as well at protecting jobs and advancing salaries than what DL non-pilot people have gained as non-union employees.
