and its been getting better and better for the F/A's.
also,
what has consistently  happened after all the union votes?
a RAISE...
After 20 years of basically getting **** on

yes its getting better. I don't disagree. (its getting better for us all)

But it can change for better or worse. You might not have been around to the worst part yet but some of us have had to joyful fun of doing it a few times..

I have was hired by Delta in the late 80's    u?

I lived though 7.5
and survived through BK

Baba,
can you explain this line for UA?
Accrue 4 hours per month up to 1000 hour maximum (assumes perfect attendance)

which is precisely why some people can't accept that the DL FAs might just be using the threat of a vote to get the bennies and then vote against the union, ending up better off financially than they would have been even if the union had obtained those things for them (which they wouldn't) because there are no union dues.

No.  not maybe their union rep can explain
and you may have started earlier but I'm still around ;-)

as a f/a why would I care what HA or AS or WN  makes?
we are much smarter than that
apples to oranges for the F/A group.
The flyer you quoted talked about sick time "being a fraction" of what others get. The response you posted talked about being competitive w/in the industry. They are in the industry.

If you want to limit the discussion to the Big 3, then that means EV can't be trotted out when convenient, either...

No problem, once you iron out the details with your buddy 700
Then let me know

Alright. Long as you aren't a new hire post that stuff I'm cool (hope you didn't take any offense to my question of having been here during the bad times btw)

We are in the same ball park of DOH

which simply shows that we all lived thru much of the same parts of DL's history and yet have different perspectives about it.

During my bike ride today, I realized DL operated 5 aircraft models (not subtypes of models but models) that they no longer do so I did make a little history during my time.

Lets see

For me the
D10
DC8
DC9(part one and part two)
L10
727
M11
310

edit to add 310

4 for me... soon to be 5... a couple others if you count Airlink.

A couple types introduced as well...

We're all old...
what are your four?
let me guess D10, 727, M82*, DC9?

Which Delta operates a few off to a point. the first 8(?) MD-80s were 82s later converted to 88s. 3 have been scrapped

DC8-bowling alley -not a fan but only had to work it a few times. That thing can bend!
DC9 (both)-  sorry to see it came back, though the reconfigured one wasn't as bad.
727- build like a tank and thought it was very safe.  hated working coach with that awful cart.
L10- another tank and thought it was very safe. Was a great plane to work depending what position.
lower galley and D Zone were good positions. --after no smoking with D zone.
MD-11-  hated all around.  Didn't feel it was safe and didn't like working it one bit.  Happy to see
     it didn't last too long.
A310-  well its an airbus lol...POS we received from Pan Am were awful.
The new ones were received from Airbus weren't much better.  working was a pain.

Dc9-30's (and -10's) were great. The 717 reminds me very much of both, which I suppose is part of why I don't mind 'em.

Could take or leave the 727, but the senior guys couldn't get enough of them.

I loved the concussive rumble of an L10 starting. DL's were on another concourse, but might as well've been at the next gate...

Enjoyed working KL's MD-11's, but was obviously in a very different part of the A/C.

Only worked DC8 freighters... that was enough for me...

I'm not old. (at least....in my mind)

727- build like a tank and thought it was very safe.  hated working coach with that awful cart. DC9(and family) are tanks too Fwiw. I still don't like em. i loved the 727s. Fun ride

The new ones were received from Airbus weren't much better.  working was a pain. 310s are a world away from the 32S. I love the little buses, 767 is much much better than 310.
