Let's get real, Union Pimp! I CAN see the IAM submitting fraudulent cards in order to have a vote, because once they've secured that vote and with the rule change, concerning voting the odds would be in their favor that the no votes would not bother to vote at all and just stag at home
Now tell me that's not a likely scenario!
You personally might be able to see that scenario, but it's not likely at all, for a couple of different reasons:

First, like it or not, 700's correct that it does the IAM no good to falsify cards. Everyone knew that this would be a VERY closely watched election, with no shortage of oversight.

Next, even setting that aside, and using your reasoning, VERY few people sign a card "just to get to a vote"on principle. Most people are signing one with every intent of voting "yes" when the time comes.

Lastly, I'm not sure what life is like in your shop, but I cannot imagine ANYONE sitting this vote out- and if they did it won't be due to lack of info from the company. Last time, one could not log on to DLNet, walk through a terminal, or visit a lounge without seeing some sort of "you must vote to count" themed messaging. Sure some might, but not nearly as many as I think you had in mind when you wrote that...

You truly dont get it still.

If they call for a vote, 50%+1 of all votes cast have to vote yes, if they filed with fraudulent cards, they wont have a majority of people voting yes, now will they?

You cant be reasoned with, your blind to the facts and reality of the situation

And its clear you dont even know how the process work, they dont go to a polling place, you either vote by internet or phone.

So try again.

And glad to see you cant even hold a debate without calling someone a name.

And I dont work for any union nor get paid by one.

So keep trying.
So instead of waiting for the DOJ to do their job, you've already decided who's innocent and who's guilty!
Well then,.so have I!

So when is the ACS card drive going to wrap it up? Hasn't it been going on for a couple of years now?

Wait! So you and the IAM can post and display propaganda pointing out, what you consider, the pros of unionization but, the company can't do the same concerning the cons?
Doesn't sound like a very fair election to me !

Fair is good. Lemme know when the IAMAW is allowed "equal time" in any DL facility...
Or is allowed to.....
Or when DL has equal time at your union hall.
No reply yet.

Mary Kay and Estee Lauder could make a pretty compelling case for having access to DL facilities but they don't get it.
