Grassroots Efforts at DL for ACS and FAs, no personal attacks.

Clueless as usual.

The Airlines transport organs all the time, the fine IAM ramp folks at UA, and US certainly do help in the process.

Unlike your claim how the CDC and DL have a special relationship.

Which was proven to be another one of your made up facts.

and non-union airlines including DL do a very fine job.

Acting as if the IAM is some essential life-saving part of American business is the height of arrogance and deception about your own self-worth.

Funny how much you post 40 and 50 year old quotes about the labor movement.

The heyday of the labor movement has come and gone.

They aren't needed any more.

they never were for the vast majority of DL people.

You are one of the clueless class that has never been able to figure that out.

The union movement is irrelevant in today's society.

It has been irrelevant at DL outside of the pilot group and a few smaller workgroups for 85 years.

The only thing that is irrelevant is you, as you wont have a vote, nor a say in what happens at DL, thats why FAs and Ramp are signing cards, you are clearly anti-worker, and anti-union.

I dont have a vote either, but I will do what every I can to help the cause, as it will improve workers lives, unlike you would rather have all DL employees as indentured servitude.

I have never doubted that.

What is a fact is that labor unions thrive in government workgroups and among regulated industries which the airline industry is.

When DL employees in multiple workgroups fare better economically than their peers at other airlines, unions are irrelevant for the majority of DL employees.

If you didnt know the airlines were deregulated in 1978, 37 years ago.

yes, and if you didn't know, there hasn't been a single airline union that has been voted out without replacement with another union.

Yes there has been and you tout it all the time.

And I guess not counting mergers the unionized airline employees are quite happy being unionized.

Try another red herring

Not WITHOUT the merger.

Like an STD, it is impossible to get rid of a union unless a major change of control takes place.

and it is precisely because DL has been non-union for most employees that one DL merger or asset acquisition after another has resulted in the largest airline workforce that consists of employees.

btw, I flew recently with a DL FA who has just been with DL for a few months, is from a heavily union based state, and is as happy as a clam - and so were her coworkers - and they see absolutely no use for a union.

The whole notion that unions can do anything of value is based on ancient history that didn't even apply at DL and DL's rapid hiring is bringing in even more new employees who dilute the union mindset.

the IAM had their best chance to unionize DL FAs, blew it, and the chances of a union at a large DL workgroup is shrinking by the day.

Once again I accurately said 7 years ago that DL would remain largely non-union while others were convinced otherwise and once again, I am right and a lot of people are not only mad but can only resort to name calling to hide their own frustration that DL employees haven't bought the union bill of goods.

One out of 20,000 wow such a great sampling, guess you missed that day in statistics class.

And thousands of cards have been signed and more each day.

Try another red herring.

the sampling came at the ballot box post merger and the IAM lost thousands of members and the majority of DL employees decided they don't want a union.

Despite all of the IAM-led and paid for efforts- which are hardly grassroots - the number of invalid union membership cards hasn't changed.

that's one hairy sardine for you to have to choke down but it is the truth.

Keep up the lies and red herrings.

You just keep showing your ignorance.

Have a Happy Labor Day, a holiday brought to you by the Machinists Union.

iow, you can't counter what I have said so you resort to name calling.

At least you are predictable.

Very predictable
