My predictions.... posted last night just in case anyone thinks I had insider information...

http://www.olesen.com/2012/02/aa-term-sheet-predictions.html

1) Pay goes untouched for most employees

2) Scheduling max for making guarantee goes up for APFA and APA (currently max of ~78 for pilots, expecting 85-90 for both pilots & FA's)

3) Scope for pilots eliminates caps on < 91 seat aircraft (currently capped for 70 seaters)

4) Domestic codesharing permitted regardless of aircraft flown by the partner carrier (currently not allowed with airlines flying >50 seat aircraft)

5) Scope caps in TWU contract eliminated (covers both regional flying plus outsourcing)

6) Staffing caps in TWU contract eliminated (restricts part-time to 50% of full-time employees & outsourcing in outstations)

7) Single benefit plan for all employees (eliminating separate plans for management/agents, APFA, and APA)

8) Single benefits rate/copay structure for all employees

9) Frozen pension with 401K match

10) Reduced benefits for employees who dump their schedules thru trading (expect requirement to work 50% in order to retain benefits)

11) Banding of pay on the B772/B773, B767/B787 and B737/A320, and maybe A321/B757 fleets

12) Outsourcing all widebody aircraft overhauls plus a percentage of new narrowbody overhauls

13) SK & VAC modified to become paid time off bank

14) Elimination of crew bases outside hubs, and Intl/Dom bases/bids for FA's

My predictions differ only in the area of scheduling max and pay.

I predict that the AA will ask the APFA for a max monthly schedule of 100, matching DL.

Pay: I predict that AA will ask the APA and APFA for a haircut on the top rates. Modest pay increases for high-cost-of-living cities line maintenance employees (via geo pay of several dollars more per hour) and some modest cuts proposed for TULE and DWH.

Hey Team twboo we will most likely lose our pensions to the pbgc. So all the crap that you and the other bubbas were spewing in 2003 are the ones to blame. We said to do it now or they will come back again and guess what they did. We would have been better off to take the hit back then and have a matching 401k that they can't threaten us with. The people are 9 years older and would have had a better chance at getting on somewherelse. If we were lucky not in this industry. If we would have taken the hit back then we would be having pay and benefits much like ual or dal,but no it was all the AMFAs fault correct you putz. Now you want to try and blame the no voters,Bob and anybodyelse you can think of. You and your idiotic team twu started this ball rolling so take ownership of your screw up and quit blaming other people. You seem to believe that the company would have let you keep the money and your retiree health you are delusional. You remind me of the kid that keeps getting his lunch money taken by the bulley and gets a black eye. When the kid is approached about why he doesn't fight back he says that he might get hurt. Well one black eye or two doesn't much matter, but he would have learned something that you obviously never did. That is that sometimes you have to fight whether you are going to lose or not. You must have lost alot of money as a child. Own the screw ups you and your communist union have made. Oh and don't try and argue the point of the twu not being a communist union. He didn't get the Mike "RED" Quill because he liked the color.

Above highlighted is exactly what most at AA don't have the stomach for. Most have never even been involved in a strike. huh...ya mean I can't wk both days off this weekend?? 😱 Place is pathetic.

I love how you and Eolesen are gloating and getting satisfaction in betting on families lives.

Anyone trying to tell you their honest opinion, that doesn't equal you getting everything you need is evil.
OK, bury head a little further and breathe deeply.

THIS IS GOING TO HURT, LIKE IT OR NOT, CALL ALL THE NAMES YOU WANT, STILL GOING TO HURT

Could you show us where the "gloating" and "satisfaction" is?

At the end of the day, no one wants to see fellow people unemployed. It would be nice to have that scenario in a Utopian society, but unfortunately that is now how things go. Some people will just have to "suck-it-up" and make adjustments in life.

Hardly gloating or satisfaction, sir. Just the sad reality of where things have gone because the various parties were all in denial over how serious the situation has been for the past ten years.

The question remains as to how the TWU groups that accepted their t/a's, costing the compAAny money, will be treated compared to the groups that rejected their t/a's, saving the compAAny money. There could be rewards for compliance and penalties for disobedience.

No one here was in denial, that is why Carty got his voluntary cutbacks. We gave him, Arpy, and Horton the leash that they asked for. They continued to take golden parachutes and bonuses while not re-investing in the airline, driving it in the ground. So get your facts straight.

Who put us in that situation? Should I blame myself for voting yes in 2003? We did more than are part back then, and the company wasted the opportinuity. Continues to waste money on leases, buildings and severval other things. All the time pocketing there bonuses for failure!!!!!!!!!!

Yea all the unions where asking for way to much in this economy, But we gave to company a chance to turn things around on THERE TERMS in 2003, we where making money, doing work for other companys like delta is currently doing. Why did AMR let that all go to the wayside?
