My point is that often times the only evidence a proscutor has is "he said, she said" or "they said" from those accused or accuser. In these type of cases one can only look at one's motive and credibility on both sides, specifically, if there is lack of concrete evidence of who initiated the first punch and who was acting in self defense.

Sometimes, the one being accused was acting in self defense and just happens to be the better hitter. For example, the bully who gets his azze whipped and cries "foul"

Great news, prosecute these thugs to the fullest extent of the law, and do the same to the union. IAM is responsible for these goons, and no spin that sock puppet can put out will change that.

For the union apologists, here is the deal, you assault people, you go to jail, being in a union doesn't change that reality. Jimmy Hoffa and knuckle breaking goombah's went out of style decades ago. If a union has to indimidate someone physically to get their way, then maybe they don't have such a good product?

Hearsay? LOL

Yeah, those evil TWU guys, they attacked the IAM by slamming their faces into the fists of the angelic IAM guys, that's it, that's the ticket! The IAM just wanted to welcome the TWU guys and conduct bible studies and such, sure, that's it. Those crafty TWU guys, breaking chairs over themselves and going in outnumbered. 😀

Who appointed you judge and jury?

That is not necessarily true...

Pit, are you refering to my statement "charges are not usually filed..."? I was careful in how I worded that particular statment and your example of a bad job done by a prosecutor is a good one...but is not the norm. That's why we have a judicial system that is skewed toward letting the guilty go free if a good case is not presented. This also is suppose to protect the innocent from being railroaded. Not guilty...is not "Innocent". Our judicial system is far from perfect, but it's the best we have.

Actually I agree with the statements made:

International Association of Machinists, who are accused of aggravated and
simple assault, conspiracy, making TERORISTIC THREATS , and theft in
connection with a Feb. 8 brawl at the Philadelphia Airport Marriott Hotel.

The bad thing is that there is a good possiblility that there have been other incidents involving more of this, even against their own members. This is only a "public" beating. The others have probably not been so public, or talked about. Sad....very sad....

🙂

My opinion here is as welcome as yours.

I am amazed at all the subtle justification given by the union sock puppets for assault and battery. Its borderline cultlike.

Assault someone, go to jail, its not a difficult concept.

Nope, the ibt leads all unions violence, by a clear margin.

After reading many of your posts, your opinion seems heavily skewed against organized labor. So who's the sock puppet?

So is this topic about the IBT there 7? ...... Noooo.

Judging by the ability of the IAM to read and comprehend I would say that the 22 criminals thought the sign on the door said "conflict" in stead of "conference" Room, so they went in to start one.

I certainly would not want to put the entire IAM in the same boat, so just a select few have this problem.....

"The three union officers for whom warrants have been issued are Robert Boland, local president of IAM Local Lodge 1776 in Philadelphia; Anthony Armidio, assistant general chairman; and Vincent Cerasso, international representative."
🙂

Your previous post said differant.

So where is your evidence of that actually occuring?

That covers the incident in PHL.

He said more incidents have probably happened and I asked for evidence.

Go back and reread the post.

Well since you did something wrong one time does that make you a habitual criminal?

They used bad judgement and will have appropiate action taken against them.

Pleny of proof the the ibt leads all unions in violence. Go look at the chart.

True.

IMO there's no way they expected things to turn out the way they allegedly did. Too many guys in that group of 22 that couldn't fight their way out of a paper bag, let alone intimidate someone. My guess would be that the group went in to try and scare them and something set some of them off. I also believe that a couple of them, just a couple, happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. IMO these guys will be the first to talk and I know of a couple others that are already seriously cracking (loosing it mentally). The Prosecutor's case will only get stronger from here.

They found out about it like the rest of us, the international or district did not set up an elaborate or anykind of plan for this to occur.

But you keep making the accusations they did.
