Glad to see at least one group on the property has some balls when it comes to accepting the contracts recommended by their IAM leadership!!!! Just wish the mechanics would have seen the light.......

Contract update:
Station Yes No
PHX 648 9
TPA 11 44
BOS 240 13
LGA 88 8
PIT 88 115
CLT 67 599
PHL 43 692
MSP 19 1
Orange Co 16 1
SAN 26 15
MKE 33 0
SLC 17 3

Other stations reporting but told not to post total: 492 Yes, 135 No

Here's how it is breaking down. Looks like a turnout of over 85% per station for those voting in the breakrooms. Appears to be over 60% Yes. In fact only 4 stations voted no. PIT, PHL, CLT, TPA, ORD.

I hate to give hemenway credit but he did his job and offered less and it got through.

Time to get some sleep and put this vote behind us and work towards making this a better union. There is a merger in front of us and we must stick together in our next fight. The majority is sacred. Case closed.

PIT 115 NO 88 YES!
Not quite what I expected out of PIT, you would think with all that's happened there that PIT would have been one of the strongest NO VOTE Stations, even more so with the impending Mergers coming up. Too Bad!

Nothing like voting down a POS TA in Sept. only to vote YES for one that's far worse several months later!

I wouldn't be too hard on them. so far they are only 1 of 4 stations that voted No. And all the Yes stations are dominating Yes.

Sorry Tim, but its like your trying to sell something for a set price, someone offers you a low ball offer of say 30% below asking price and you decline only to accept a later offer of 50% below asking price.....

I've said it before and I'll say it again......This group continually shoots itself in the foot, there is no common sense factor...Seems we climb the long hard road to the top of the hill only to give up at the top and fall all the way back to the bottom....

I understand the masses have spoken, but it just makes no sense....

Good Luck to everyone because we are certainly going to need it now....

how stupid are we ? Giving up all our merger rights for nothing but an increase in pay , how shortsighted. The IAM sucks !

MKE voted 31 yes 0 no
The thing that truly amazes me here is the number of small stations voting yes.......The ones that are the most vulnerable........

Hope this all works out for you guys in the smaller stations....

Like I said Good Luck

It tells me we just have to get more solid. And I think we can do that. PIT's issue was they were concerned that they would be a class 2 station. Alot of my good friends are in BUF and they are solid Union guys but they felt that if this didn't get passed then they might have been contracted out. Don't be too hard on PIT, many solid union guys there. So every station had its reasons.
Don't lose any sleep, it's done. What's important is all of us accepting the results, and moving forward together. There will be bigger fights with this merger and many jobs will be exposed. We must all stick together as United goes into section 6 bargaining in only 9 months. No doubt United will use this contract as leverage against the United rampers.

I agree, As bad as it is, we will have to deal with it....
