Looking through a contract book I cannot seem to find the section that mandates 9.1 mechanics per U aircraft?
Which really means hardly anyone pays dues, right?WN outsources over 70% of thier maintenance.
You can be the highest paid on paper, but if the work is outsourced hardly anyone will be making those wages.
You can't teach old dogs new tricks.PITMTC:
suppose increasing manpower in an efficient manner while achieving monetary saving through cooperation between management and union would be out of the question?
heard you loud and clear the first time but you were slinging...which makes you quite guilty of the same mundane non trust that exists and still does between both of us. 😉You can't teach old dogs new tricks.
Since you can't get 500 mechanics to love the same directors and management below them, no matter how good the new executive team is, then I guess you need to get rid of the dir and mgrs. Give the boys a chance to get to know new people. I tried to tell you this in a previous post, but you did not get it.
No matter what Douog and group does, the big boys that are old school will try to run thing the same way. Get them out and try new blood. Maybe someone else will listen and try to work with the people?
Same rhetoric. I'm surprised you didn't throw in the "declared war on employees" line.Dell,
The company did not want any part of that as it was proposed during negotiations to them.
They don't want to be in the maintenance business and they certainly don't want to manage their people, that was their biggest reason for getting rid of utility as they did not want to manage the group.
Gee making management actually do their work, what a novel idea!
No way bud, I will keep coming until they tell me to stop. I suggest you stay too. I hope (in a good way) that one day all the people who left on their own learn to regret it and the ones we pushed out would like to come back. I know, but it's just a wish. This is a great place with many great people, we just need to like the place and work again. I realize that this is hard with the financial impact we've taken, but maybe, just maybe that could change in future negotiations.heard you loud and clear the first time but you were slinging...which makes you quite guilty of the same mundane non trust that exists and still does between both of us. 😉
so where does it end?
you and i quit for the good of the company and future of management/union relations?![]()
