Injunction is out

I do believe you are wrong. We are NOW ONE PILOT GROUP with ONE CBA. ALPA gets voted in, we are still ONE pilot group with ONE CBA. We would have ONE MEC (somewhere) and 4 LEC's. You can't put the tooth paste back in the tube, bub. I don't have the book reference to refer to, but I believe it has something to do with NMB rulings.

Good luck on your fairy tale ending. But, please push. Count on a real airplane (double aisles) in about fifteen years, minimum. Too bad, had you taken the DOH, many of the west would have been flying such in five years, but, you just had to be greedy. Sorry you had to be dragged down by your west peers.
 
I guess east pilots should have stood up against the corruption and ill-advised tactics of USAPA years ago before they tried to drive the bus off the cliff. Instead, USAPA has run afoul with no voices of reason to get them to stop mixing passenger and crew safety with contract negotiations. All USAPA and the east pilots have to do now is go back to operating the same way they did before the yellow lanyards, USA Today ads, and calls for Doug to fire the VP of Safety and they will be in compliance with the judge's order.

It's time for those who were uninvolved with this illegal work action to stop making excuses and start demanding that their more militant peers cease and desist from trying to bring the company down because they want a DOH contract. Engaging in willful silence and turning a blind eye to what you KNOW has been going on has now cost you a federal injunction and the potential of damage assessments if you continue to ignore the truth of what USAPA followers have done. Time to rise to the occasion and say enough is enough with this corrupt and fiscally unsound "union". Or, you can just complain that Management and the district court aren't nearly as stupid as USAPA keeps telling you they are.

One man, one vote. Time for you West pilots to get off the sidelines and get involved and stop expecting the 500 or so of us that continually vote against the present BPR to carry your water for you.

We aren't pushing jack. We are watching from the sidelines as USAPA fumbles the ball OVER & OVER again. This will be over when Mr. Parker needs/wants it over. He presently has his fist tightly cuffed around a piece of your anatomy that makes you VERY uncomfortable.

Greed is someone that refuses to abide by a binding agreement because they are larger and therefore able to out vote the smaller group, and try to steal what does not belong to them. I've been dragged down by USAPA & USAPA's supporters. Your group has lost us MILLIONS of dollars, countless benefits & time off NEVER to be recovered. The lawyer that said DOH was a slam dunk is leaving the building with our 10+ MILLION dollars.

I have to go and get some more pop corn & soda. The show is just getting good. Have a great evening, and be sure be "SAFE" out there.....Maroon.

No we're NOT. We have two CBAs and one TA. Vote in ALPA and you have the same thing AND the same players running it.

What the heck are you talking about??? We have over 1000 MIGS, allowing us the maximum reps of 3. The CBL's are constructed in such a way that PHX can NEVER control ANYTHING without nearly ALL other BPR members on their side. We are EXCLUDED from chairperson positions on EVERY KEY COMMITTEE. We have a web site constructed to attempt changes in the USAPA constitution, but so far only a modicum of east response.

The east pilots are split into many factions: MIGS involved, MIGS not involved/not informed, Objectors not involved, etc. As long as the majority of the east pilots let the BPR and Cleary go UNCHECKED you will have NO CHANGES in USAPA (oh, BTW...changing CBA's will only add to the delay for a new contract).

We (the West pilot group) have been placed on the bench. We sit and watch as USAPA spends us into a red hole. We watch as USAPA fumbles the ball over and over again. As far as I can see, you aren't carrying squat.

Time to get more pop corn and a soda....show is getting good.
 
USAPA Update on Judge Conrad's Order

Today, Chief Judge Conrad issued an order in the case of US Airways versus the US Airlne Pilots Association (USAPA). We have asked our attorneys to explore our legal options in regard to that order. In the meantime USAPA fully intends to comply with the order. We have been advised by our attorneys to have no further comment.

It sounds like our new general council, effectively, is already in place. I guess you'd truly have to be an 'insider' to know for sure though. I'd be wary of thinking this is the victory many of us seem to think it is.

There is a new general counsel sheriff in town. The old $eham techniques are long gone by now. USAPA spent millions with $eham and now has to hire another law firm and a CPA firm to determine just how much $eham overbooked them for. Given the substantial number of hours he must have billed every month for four years, that too is going to cost USAPA a lot of cash. The thing of it is, I would guess that $eham has proof for all of his invoices as he knew this day was coming. So USAPA will follow another wild golden goose to find out that that well has run dry too. More wasted pilot dues and absolutely nothing to show for it. Brilliant.
