So how are you this morning....
By credible link I am refering to what you and Garfield are willing to accept as actual factual liberal approoved news and or information sources...You know, like Fox news
About the Bushie thing and Iraq/9-11 Terrorism links...I never told any lib's this but I figured it out a couple years ago that 9-11 and Hussien had little,if any connection.I'm sure theres some indirect remote ties through funds, etc.Hell Saddam was tight with Syria and helped Hezzbollah through the "exploding Palestinian children program"....you know, put your child on the line for Allah and get
Instant Cash-$25,000.
I still insist there are WMD's out in the Bekka Valley and in Syria. You fail to accept the
FACTS that yes indeed some things were found.....you do know what they do with yellowcake now don't you?(oops wasn't a W80 warhead).
There wasn't very much good in Iraq under Hussien...and like a good neighbor,it was right to go in and stop the regime....it curtailed the exploding child program with cash incentives overnite. That was quite out of hand and a terrible perversion of a religion. That alone,to me justified military action.
As far as this:
And I don't dispute at all that there are good stories coming out of Iraq. I see them often. But they are only about 10% of what I see on the news. Is that bias? I'd hardly say so. Bias would be to show the "feel goods" 50% of the time even though they are occurring far less frequently and have nil ramifications compared to the mounting death toll and escalating violence every day. To try to paint Iraq as a bunch of shiny happy people holding hands would be a bias.
Insurgents work in and around the Sunni triangle trying to start civil war with the Shiites....Sure there are other areas of action but its not every street corner like you imply. In fact as time goes on the areas and insurgents are getting smaller day by day.You actually think its bad around every corner and under every rock?Well if you do you're quite wrong.Ex-mil's have told me time and time again what we see on TV doesn't depict what is going on over there.....I figure they were there, they ought to know better than Anderson Cooper.

What's Wrong With the News?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Independent, aggressive and critical media are essential to an informed democracy. But mainstream media are increasingly cozy with the economic and political powers they should be watchdogging. Mergers in the news industry have accelerated, further limiting the spectrum of viewpoints that have access to mass media. With U.S. media outlets overwhelmingly owned by for-profit conglomerates and supported by corporate advertisers, independent journalism is compromised.
Ultimately, FAIR believes that structural reform is needed to break up the dominant media conglomerates, establish independent public broadcasting, and promote strong, non-profit alternative sources of information.
