? is this a result of SHARES ?

Well here we are 4 weeks into this nightmare and still waitng for Qik to catch up to the 21st century ...still waiting for intl avail ex phlsyd...answer ?????? I know I can find it phl lax and then lax syd but why should I have to and do the new hires know where syd is? :blink: I did have a daly funny experience Tues..tried to sign someone up for FF Ive done it before and its similar to Sabre....1st pax Husband...no problem then you get a pop up do you want another enrollment so I say Y...fields are still populated with Husbands info I change the name and tab to bottom to enter and lo and behold Qik decides N Myrtle Beach, SC is now in Canada..no matter what I tried I couldnt change it

So I called help desk and asked her to wake me from my nightmare and she said only if I wake her too..She is just as frustrated as we are

And the best part is my partner was trying to do the same thing and Qik decided Owing Mills, MD was in Canada too!!!!

If it werent so sad it would be hysterical

PS..Does Canada know it now owns SC
 
Part of the issue may be training, but most of it seems to be SHARES. The FA's got a list of pax from the Gate Agent and when asked how he was able to do it without 75 pages of junk, he said that he had been cross-trained for a year. Still, the FA's had to make-up a seating chart to locate the pax. Some people may think that this is not a big deal, but it makes the FA's job easier to write down meals (on the few flights they are served!!!) and drinks. Without the proper tools, the FA's cannot do the job they would like to do.

Ir's an aircraft for God sake!

Unfortunately as long as Shares remains our res system of choice we will continue to be a second tier airline. We are not doing the things necessary for us to step up. AA remains at the top of the list because they give their employees the tools to succeed. Their top level Sabre is an example of this. By choosing Shares , Tempe has decided that we will never be anything more than we are , even though the desire and potential is there . Give us the right tools and we can take this company anywhere , give us the garbage that you are and we go nowhere.
