I don't actually know anything about a reservation system, but how can it be as bad as everyone is saying? Someone mentioned that no "major trunk carriers" used SHARES, but I know that Continental does. Someone said that it is a second rate system that will make US sink to the second rate, but Continental is consistently voted the best US Airline, the most admired airline, etc. People complain that it is a system for the likes of a "regional" like HP, and airlines like USA3000 and Spirit...and not for an international airline. But isn't it Continental that serves the most international destinations in the world? Continental seems fine with it, why is it so different for US employees. It seems like everyone is denying that it will simply take time to get used to or anything like that....and seem to condemn it to a total failure for the rest of its existence at US. So what is different about it (if at all) that makes it work for Continental?
