The aflcio and intl labor organizations have become right wing groups. Not as right wing as Republicans but definately right. Its become all about the dues. And the labor contracts have become a disaster because of they play by the rules and say "we cant do that" "management can do that", and "ill Ask Management". Labor got most of everything by participating in unlawful strikes, wildcatting, etc. But companies and lawmakers pushed them to the right by lawsuits. The last airline union that potentually violated their contract concertively i think was APA which a republican judge ruled was illegal. $$$$
At United, the iam put out a letter from its legal staff saying it would never be able to strike a big airline so might as well bend over. So, if the Labor organization is powerless, by its own admission, then how can anyone believe that we will get more than Parker was willing to give? Look, the reps can take credit for getting us more than their self proclaimation "We gonna getz da best of both", but they arent goin to get anything more than parker says, then become a company mouthpiece to support it.
As far as tommy, he most certainly was a "related" and not a amt. Maybe he got a license later but i prolly knew him before mr pollyanna did.
