JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA Fleet

So now that the head pecker has flipped his lid what now!
We have to find out what the hell is going on. We are losing $925 a month, and have a CEO who already said that he intends to pay us the best, and give us profit sharing. So we don't even have to negotiate those 2 big items. So, not sure what we are negotiating unless we are negotiating concessions???

At the very least, an explanation is needed for the membership. The internet reports say that Lombardo had a complete and thorough mental breakdown against some other union brothers. Whether warrented or not, true or not, there needs to be some answers and we have to know who is going to be our Kingpin negotiator. I suggest that Weasle do it since all he has to do is walk in and agree to the Profit sharing and high wage, and not offer up any concessions in the 'best of both' package.

History IS repeating it self, remember Mr Little. I say damn the torpedoes (e.g. IAM) and all ahead FULL.
The fact that Lombardo didn't address the membership himself suggest an clear and serious internal squabble. He simply was NOT allowed to address the membership and this suggest the internet reports were correct.

That being said, whatever the case, it is NOT professional that the TWU put out a half baked letter simply saying, 'oh by the way, mr Lombardo is on personal leave'. We need an update to know who is in charge while Lombardo is on the shelf. Sito could make a play on bylaw technicalities but I don't want him to get a second chance. Obviously, I don't think Klemm should step in either. Not sure on the TWU side is good, but someone I guess will be in charge. Hopefully, instead of another bland 'weekend update' the update puts some substance in it and addresses the Lombardo event.

Main negotiator?

Your even more ignorant than I thought.

Harry and Sito are not the main negotiators, and never have been.

I'm done with their stupidity on the subject. And Tim proves to me more and more everyday that he's nothing more than Garbage making garbage up as he goes along.

My bad, JGlass is. Basically, these negotiations are a dictation from management on what Parker wants us to have. The negotiators on our side are basically just there to rearrange the chairs since Parker already resolved profit sharing and wages for us. Hopefully, Tommy reagonomics gets the math right this time and doesn't screw people with seniority either.

Weez are you saying you don't think Harry and Sit have any say in the negotiations? If that's true we don't have to worry about the IAMPF holding things up do we.

Making up garbage? Look a few pages back, you were the one denying Lombardo had any issues. Also, read the NMB report which gives the Association FULL Bargaining rights. You know how many members are in the association? 2, i.e., the chairman and vice chariman. You need to read the bylaws and the NMB rulings.

So, if the Association has sole bargaining, and it does, who the hell is negotiating? And are they negotiating illegally? We have to find out what is going on.

Next Association update tomorrow.
I'll give you a preview... we met with the company and made progress on two articles and will meet again next week. We also scheduled weeks of negotiations for December and January of next year (I thought Tim would like the last part)

I agree that Lombardo should have put out a personal note saying he was taking a LOA, Hopefully it is a minor personal problem. The way the membership has been informed makes you think it is something altogether different. Even though it may be false, hearing the president of the union had a meltdown and skipped out is not what you like to hear. Lots of guys talking about it. Gave me the creeps. It just doesn't look good. I'm hoping it's incorrect.
