Did you see McKayla standing on the front of the police boat? It was an internet meme poking fun of the olympic gymnast.....Sully's 15 minutes were over a long time ago, and his reputation went to hell when he showed support of a scab union then sued his real estate appraisal guy.

oh..and as far as you know...he did apply. Probably also looked into Virgin in the 2004 +/- time frame just to cover his bases in case the AWA aquisition did not happen, along with China and Etihad.

There was Skiles and three flight attendants and countless rescue workers who saved over 100 lives that day. I dont care what Sully testified to in court, he still was the PIC in a dire situation that could have killed many.

Could you have done the same?

Bottom line it was in poor taste, ask the passengers on that flight how they would feel about is post.

It is in poor taste, because EC decided to repeat his original post and emphasize-in case we missed it-the mircle on the hudson. When the original hero worship thread in 2009 came out, it seemed like all differences were set aside an d it looked like US was finally burying their differences. Then EYE IN THE SKY posted Sully's picture and everybody wooed and ahhed. Then some westhole scumbag mentioned that he was wearing his 20 year ALPA pin and the thread took a turn into an East vs. West thread and your colors came out.

Think what you want about me USholes, I know I'm a scumbag. But you guys have so much anomisity and hatred for each other that no matter what the outcome of your airline, you will all be sticking it to each other and are blind to that fact.
