July - US Pilots Labor Discussion

Sir, from your posts, it sounds like the scope (or rumored changes to scope) are going to put an end to you! What are you so afraid of? We have been through some of the worst circumstances imaginable during our time with this airline and we are still here. These fear tactics are being used by members of the BPR for their own gain. It is a control thing pure and simple. When we have something to look at, something to vote on, THAT is when it would pay to really scrutinize what is in the MOU. Right now, you, me, none of us have one. It does not exist yet. I certainly won't be losing any sleep over the process. At least something is being done in contrast to 5+ years of meaningless negotiations.

Sorry driver, the MOU does exist see ya the 21st, and I will bet the senior guys will sell out again.

No, he didn't lie. See the latest Officers Update. It should be in your mailbox.

Driver...
Saw it already see my previous post. about it. I'm sorry I just don't trust these guys, it's turning into the past all over again pension, LOA93, etc...... Maybe you think we haven't given the company enough still a few guys like that around what would you like to give up next? and when does it end no other pilot group has made the sacrifices we have.

The President said the BPR will have to decide wether they must "reject the work of the NAC and the professional negotiator" or "if the terms should be submitted to the members for ratification".

That characterization gives me pause. The BPR should not view themselves as affirming the NAC "work", they should be voting about the company's proposal. Accepting DUI's first proposal is foolish.

The APA voted down the first LBO and I don't think anyone on their NAC felt dissed.. perhaps the NAC could actually have more success if they could show the company the BPR and pilots can actually say no... APA did and they are in bankruptcy.

Who do you think Parker will appease?

He helped lock you out of CLT, so he has served well. Enjoy your potty break in CLT and your disgusting chicken. Then scurry back to your heat riddled hovel in PHX. You are exactly the kind of idiot HP Early loser hired. Do you have the AWA pedigree of a DUI, violations and no college or all three? I suspect a hat trick, you and Nicloser4

Borman helped lock Move2 out of CLT?

Next you will tell me his uncle was Frank Borman.....

You are a scab...any questions? I gots a college degree or two and might be able to answere them.....no DUI or violations though.

How in the world can you compare the unity resolve and leverage that the APA pilots have with the wannabees of USAPA? It's like comparing an orchard that sits on an oil reserve with a bowl of applesauce.

What you West guy's don't seem to understand, is that most of us on the East (I think, from my conversations over the past years) feel like we were "sucker punched" and TOTALLY kept in the "dark" by ALPA during this whole process.

I know I was never "personally" asked if I agreed or disagreed with ANYTHING ALPA was doing or trying to do. In the end, that's why I voted to send them packing!

Is USAPA any better? At the end of the day (today), so far NO. I disagree with a lot of what they have spent my money and time on. Last time I checked, I am not living a "dress rehearsal", this is my life and way too much of it has been "wasted" at US Airways, having said that, I am also not interested in giving my (albeit, relatively "crap") job, to someone who was still on probation at the "merger" or whatever the "bankers" want to call it..

That's the bottom line, and I will NEVER voluntarily cross it and I suspect most others on the East will not either! Get used to it, deal with it, that's the way it is and always will be!

And that's what I mean by: "It is what it is".

seajay

What you east guys just don't get is nobody wants your job.

With no more Rico and identity theft nonsense to gin up, I suppose the hardcore usapians have to come up with something. Hummel! Selling out! Scope!! Whatever. Have at it 9.
That is true. The east pilots always have to have some sort of boogie man to fear. Someone or something to blame. Distract the masses from the real issues.

The MOU is complete and will be briefed on the 21st.

If the MOU were in fact a win-win for everyone then the President would have sent out an advance copy for your review so you could have time to analyse it and craft intelligent questions.

In grand ALPA fashion, you are not smart enough to read an MOU on your own. It could unnecessarily scare you.

If the MOU were in fact devoid of concessions and bitter pills, there are plenty of Garry sycophants who could leak the details.

Don't hold your breath. I won't tell you I told you so. And if I'm wrong, as I told a west puke, I'll be glad to be wrong anytime it means mgt got the finger.
So CLT cries wolf and "thinks" it is bad. The officers send a message saying wait and read it yourself when it is complete. Now that is bad because no real information has leaked.

You guys really do need something to be afraid of. check under your bed and in the closet at night for your own monsters and leave the rest of us alone.

So that would make you a........junior guy. Or are you a sell out?

The senior guys handed you angry F/O's a 5 year gift of sacrificing contract improvements to avoid the Nicolau and upgrade a few out of seniority east guys. You should thank them.

Remember Clear,

Whatever happens in the future affects you just as much as anyone else on the seniority list, regardless of how the list turns out. Your high and mighty attitude and finger pointing just shows how arrogant you are.

Get a grip.

Your conclusion proves the comparison was apt.
