Same Jordan. Jordan was elected then handed off to Weidner. No change in the last year or so. Why are you worried about CLT they don't have any power? It's all yours.

Not worried...irritated. I went to the meeting at USAPA headquarters when Doug Parker came to give his presentation on the potential merger. A couple of points were made that were clearly not in keeping with why we were there. Gary Hummel VERY tackfully suggested that this might not be the proper forum for those points and asked that we allow the presentation to be finished before we moved on to questions/comments. That was when one of the CLT reps came to the back of the room and started working the crowd. He was trying to turn something that was tackfully done into a conspiracy theory saying "look what your president is doing, look what your president is doing". I was there. I heard it. It made me want to throw up. It was one of the most childish and unprofessional things I have ever witnessed. Every since, the CLT reps have taken every opportunity to cast doubt on the process, on the other USAPA leadership, and to set as many fires as possible. Just look at the posts on this board..."the sky is falling". I haven't seen the document. I haven't been briefed on the document and until I do, I will do my best not to pass judgement. The sky ISN'T falling...yet.

Don't you think you have the right to vote if it envolves your pay, work rules and concessions? Our reps can't block squat I wish they could if my right to vote is being taken away. Hummel and the compass corruption boys are tucked neatly in Parkers back pocket. ALPA all over again.

Oh you bet your a$$ we should get to vote. BUT, I've read more than one post that suggested that the MOU shouldn't make it past the BPR to the pilot group. I disagree with that. Discuss it, brief it, put out the recommendations on it and then trust the pilot group to do the right thing.

August 17. The big date, and you can get down on your knees and thank Mike Cleary for fencing the Westoffs off the reservation. All parties wait in front of Bojangles or Popeyes wherever you are, especially CLT, and think of Move2Clt. Then proceed to the nearest ladies room and flush the chicken bones right down his mover of choice. Some use Paul Arpin, some North American. Others use United Van Lines, others UHaul. Move2 CLT??? KOHLER. All moves handled by KOHLER.

I wouldn't believe a word any of the Charlotte reps said or wrote. I base that on being a RICO defendant on account of a web post. Not a word of what they wrote about that had any basis in reality. Why should anything else they write?

Yes, Cleary did a great job defending the east pilots and not bowing down to Tempe, I don't think we will be able to say the same of the group we have in now. Good thing this MOU is only valid if the merge goes through.

I'll tell you again. I am NOT part of any group, on any mailing list, subscribe to anything.

Still, it's one pilot, one vote. I've never been on the winning side of a vote, but I still vote and have to live with it just like you do. We'll see what happens, then we will go home, have a beer and maybe some chips. Trust me...the stress isn't worth it.
