Oh, and 147 West captains were displaced when the company violated our min block and furloughed disproportionately from the West. The real question is how many east scabs stole jobs?

Hmmm...Must be a host of new faces in PHX then......No? Then how did anyone "steal" any jobs from you? Kindly provide a concise list of named pilots who've supposedly "stolen" jobs....? Go ahead. Don't be bashful here. After all; doesn't your fantasy deserve your best supportive efforts on it's behalf? 😉

What was at all disproportionate about the furloughs then? Wasn't one of the biggest attempted justifications for the nic that you keep only what you "brought"? 😉

That just "might" have resulted from the demise of LAS, the relatively unproductive nature of some PHX based flying/etc, and merely reflects the instability/insanity of the glorious airline life.

On further reflection there is a part of that post that deserves an answere.

You want names...okay...get an east list...find the West pilots who accepted recall to the east..note that the TA specifically says they will be senior to any newhire...period...then go make a list of ....oh this is just too much work...just take the east list and suffice it to say any east pilot below Monda has stolen work from the West.

I never suggested that you support USAPA and the broad brush you paint all East pilots with has no basis in fact. Your characterization of the West pilot careers as being murdered is over dramatic. One of your two crew bases was closed yet you still maintain your fleet count. How many West pilots have lost their Captain seat? You still have a contract, even got raises. How does that translate into the murder of your career? To state that you have suffered any losses at all is suppositional. You say you wouldn't accept the Kirby proposal but that is the ONLY comprehensive proposal the company has delivered. You state as fact where you think you should be along your career path when you deny what the CEO says about the health of AWE absent a merger. Why do you think you know more than your own management except that it feeds your need to cry foul and feel victimized?

I'll say this again. IMO, the company is going to make a deal for AA. There is simply too much money on the table to walk away from it. The APA will be the CBA. The modification of the AA Green Book is what 9000+ pilots say you will live under. Blame USAPA or whoever you like but, IMO, that is where we will all end up. USAPA's days are numbered. Their current relevance depends on how they conduct themselves with the company and APA. This seniority thing can't go on forever. It will either be settled in court or by contract. File your DFRs and spend your money...that is your privilage, but in every argument, there is an end. You just have to be smart enough to know when you've seen it.

Whatever expansion that has resulted in movement, the west has a rightful claim to 1/3 of it and would have it absent USAPA's delay tactics. Instead, the east has confiscated 100% of the advantages of the merger. And now you admit that USAPA will continue to provide no benefits to either side, but they will continue to demand their 1.95%+.

C'mon tell me where I am wrong in this assessment. Your tacit approval of USAPA's tactics earns you the tarring with their stain on this profession.

Couple of things:

• I don't approve of much they do.
• I pay my money so I can vote. Besides...if you don't pay even 50 cents, they are coming after you to try to get you terminated. This has happened to two people I know (East pilots) that were in dispute about how much they owed and USAPA started the process on them. They both got termination letters. Right now USAPA is sending out mail at a cost of $???, to literally collect pennies.

I would bet you are one of those furloughed kids that did not take a recall on the east side because Furguson's promise of damages, how's that working for you kids?
