.....and ended up on the east with no other options.
Well...at least be fair and evidence some slight charity. Few mere mortals could ever even dream of qualifying for that most elite unit in all of aviation's history; the mighty AWA 😉
.....and ended up on the east with no other options.
What's the point? No decision makers in this proposed merger give a rats ass if USAPA even exists. All the complete idiots following Cleary's advice got you the injunction, the idiots that voted for USAPA got you stuck on LOA 93 rates for at least an additional 7 YEARS, (delta NB F.O.s now make more than a West captain btw...on their 2nd contract)So then; exactly what are the mighty AOL and their Knights who say Nic going to do about that? The only union involved here is one you tried/try to undermine or destroy at every chance, and the moronic thrashing of pom poms for the company's glorious injunction still echoes throughout the land. My understanding is that the west's enthusiasm for said injunction even went so far as providing information in support of getting it...? "The terms on that sheet suck for the west pilots."...? Well....I'm all ears as to what you feel should be done....or even why any among the actual majority of the pilots, ie; the evil easties, should now even care.....?
You guys have earned every dram of your endless misery.
If a 5-yr old came back with such a non-answer, it might be considered cute. When you do it, it screams both ignorance and denial. Your chosen addle-brained leaders told you you didn't need the west to accomplish your blitzkrieg, and like the pollyannas that make up the bulk of the east, you believed them. When they handed you your yellow lanyard and implied they could gain relevance though illegal activity, you agin dutifully donned your protective lanyard only to find that it, like your union, offered no protection. The west is not being restricted from engaging in behavior, because it never engaged in it to begin with. The east was put in a judicial time-out because they behaved like children. The west was just happy to see an adult step in and restrain them.As said injunction contains yourself and all west pilots.....well.....I'd have to note that you're also "slapped by one". I'll leave just how "different" the degree and quality of "stupid" is in "cheering for an injunction", versus "being.....slapped by one" (which you were as well), to those with evidently, far more subtle....ummm....."minds". 😉
.... it screams both ignorance and denial.
The west is not being restricted from engaging in behavior,.....
Your professional fate is sealed and you can't wash your hands of it. You had your part in it too. It's AAs green book or find another job.
Checkmate.
Dohnogo or Eastcoast are probably Jetzz additional screen names. That is why you focus entirely on the UAL thing. Busted.Sounds pretty pathetic to me, on your part.
I may be late to the party, but you don't read well. I told you the other day that I actually had coffee with him last year in Terminal 7 at JFK. How or why would he have a US seniority number if he is an active UA pilot. You make no sense as usual. And you seem to care more about him than he cares about you. Get over it already.
From my conversation with him, I don't think he cares much about your opinion or any individual's opinion enough to get a rise out of him. He seemed more concerned about precedent and how our situation might have an affect on binding arbitration. Much the same way I'm interested in how DAL's contract and any pending UAL contract might affect our chances of a raise and some basic improvements in work rules.
Why continue to support USAPA?
The east tries to hide the guilt they feel for the destruction they did by allowing USAPA to exist.
I think you missed the question. Why continue to support USAPA? Your previous answer offerred no compelling reason.
The east tries to hide the guilt they feel for the destruction they did by allowing USAPA to exist. Unfortunately they hide it by continuing to try and deny their culpability.
The homicide of the west's careers as the collateral damage from the east's suicide seems to them perfectly justified to most USAPA supporters. Pretty sick, really.
Dohnogo or Eastcoast are probably Jetzz additional screen names. That is why you focus entirely on the UAL thing. Busted.
Always happy to entertain people!!!!!9-piece says this board is pure entertainment. Fair enough...unfortunately he doesn't realize that people like him are what makes it so entertaining. Some castle is missing it's jester...
Jim
I never suggested that you support USAPA and the broad brush you paint all East pilots with has no basis in fact. Your characterization of the West pilot careers as being murdered is over dramatic. One of your two crew bases was closed yet you still maintain your fleet count. How many West pilots have lost their Captain seat? You still have a contract, even got raises. How does that translate into the murder of your career? To state that you have suffered any losses at all is suppositional. You say you wouldn't accept the Kirby proposal but that is the ONLY comprehensive proposal the company has delivered. You state as fact where you think you should be along your career path when you deny what the CEO says about the health of AWE absent a merger. Why do you think you know more than your own management except that it feeds your need to cry foul and feel victimized?
I'll say this again. IMO, the company is going to make a deal for AA. There is simply too much money on the table to walk away from it. The APA will be the CBA. The modification of the AA Green Book is what 9000+ pilots say you will live under. Blame USAPA or whoever you like but, IMO, that is where we will all end up. USAPA's days are numbered. Their current relevance depends on how they conduct themselves with the company and APA. This seniority thing can't go on forever. It will either be settled in court or by contract. File your DFRs and spend your money...that is your privilage, but in every argument, there is an end. You just have to be smart enough to know when you've seen it.
