Well...if after all these years, a majority find that preferable; I'll reasonably submit that the actual, number one reason....is the Nic insanity it's self.

I might not use the word insanity, but I agree with the premise. The Nic award and a poorly done TA. Those are what put us here.

It was bound to happen sooner or later. Your obsesive use of "scab" became so mundane you now have to resort to more inflammatory insults.

I would make a wager with you that Luv does not respond to my post pointing out that I am his co-worker and he has chosen to support those wishing to steal from me....

But, that would be pointless because a wager requires payment of some sort if you lose...and being a proven reneging sort, that cannot be trusted to comply with terms of an agreement or wager, well, I would be foolish to make any deals with you.

To comment on Trader's why we don't have a contract...it is the same thing as my unwillingness to wager with PHX....

Nobody trust a scab..and nobody is going to deal with the scab union...usapa can sit in the parked-injunction corner and watch. Further, the reason we have record amounts of grievances left unresolved,,,,,nobody trust a scab, and nobody cares when the scab union cries foul.

No brainer, your not my co- worker. we're as two separate companies now.

Am I to believe you think things are better now, tell me that's a joke, please.

No joke...had AWA not bought US....you would have been looking for work in 2005, instead of looking to steal work from your co-workers for the past 7 years.

So, you are saying I should remember that next time an east pilot request to ride my jumpseat as a "company" pilot.

I will tell him,,,,hey you don't work for the company I do,,,,oh, and you don't have pass travel benefits at my company either,,,,get off the airplane.

Maybe at a better company to. "Project Zanzibar" ring a bell or do I have to jog your memory?

Hey , Captain's own the jumpseat that's your call. ( but I doubt your a Capt.) As for me you guys are always welcome to ride. I don't play the jumpseat game, all are welcome. Even Move2.

I have a great memory....project zanzibar was the preliminary plan for entering bankruptcy in the event the string of profitable months came to an end and AWA needed to restructure if it approached certain cash minimums which were called for by the ATSB and credit card companies.

Never happened,,,,profits remained, and AWA ended up buying US making it moot. Also, saved you from the unemployment line...so what is your point?

Just how stupid are you? The company doesn't want to pay us more? Really?

There is plenty of blame to go around but it's the union's job to get a contract from the company (even when the company doesn't want to give us one) and it ain't going to happen until they put their efforts in that direction instead of trying to rewrite the seniority list.

The majority of the pilots here don't want a joint contract if it contains the Nicolau Award, that's the #1 reason why we don't have one.

Pretty stupid thinking I can reason with you.

I remember the last time we had a "contract at any cost". It's LOA93. I stand by my statement...if the company coughed up the dough, we would have a contract NIC or no NIC. Nearly everyone I fly with these days is sick to death of this.

But it is all a moot point. If the company can pull off this merger, you, me and everyone else will be on AA's Green book.

Driver...

I have never denied a jumpseat in over two decades in the captain seat.

Further, I go out of my way to make it a good experience for east pilots, whether they are jumpseating or deaheading on West metal, and expect nothing less from my east counterparts. Want to know why?

Because we are co-workers, and the last thing we should have to deal with is animosity or intimidation from each other. Unfortunately, there have been east jumpseaters making false accusations against West crews in attempts to get them disciplined.

If you support your "co-workers", you better get a handle on these idiots.

One more thing about jumpseat. What is with all the east checkairmen that have homes in PHX? I have given a ride to 3 east checkairmen in the last 3-4 years that have houses in PHX. A very senior 757 guy who lives in Chandler, a senior 320 checkairman with a place in Fountain Hills, and another 320 guy who lives in North PHX, oh and I think there was a 4th one who lived in Anthem.

If you are indeed in the top 395...I am guessing you could figure out the identity of at least one of these checkairman, and go ask them if they have ever had trouble jumpseating West metal....once they reply, ask them if the West are their "co-workers".
