How's that list working for ya? we have DOH over here, lots and lots of upgrades coming, how about that west side. You guys blew it at Wye river and continue to do the same. I know your senior guys are pissed at you AFO's from conversations at the Crowne in CLT, they could have been on the big planes by now..

Really. Your list is DOH. Should we ask the empire and trump guys if that is true?

If we are to believe you. Why are the senior guys still donating to Leonidas? BTW. All the guys I talk to could care less about the "big airplane"

What seniority did a furloughed east pilot have?

How can they give no seniority to someone? Now DOH tries to take west seniority and give it to east pilots by longevity. Two different things that you still don't understand.

How can I take a captain seat from someone if I already have one. Yet your comment was that an east pilots worked many years more for it, implying stil an FO.


You all pretent to be senior captains but all complain about when you can get that captain upgrade. You all talk about getting on the big airplane. But if you are a captain why would you be so concerned about upgrading?

I guess you don't realize the sacrifice I'm making for you, my senoir classmates would sell you out in a minute for a ten dollar an hour raise.

No your classmates sold them out by pushing for Age65. Now that you got yours, you can screw the west under the guise of supporting the junior pilots. However, even the junior folks aren't that naieve.

Please tell me you're not that far out of touch with reality. Without a merger, AWA would have most likely (80%) have entered bankruptcy. Without a merger, US would most likely have entered liquidation (99% chance).

I have to agree with that I believe. I was a junior captain, and before the merger I was already worrying about keeping the seat. Fuel was rising, this that and the other. I'd heard rumors that Parker didn't want the airplanes that were coming, and we had a lot of leased airplanes that could have been returned. I'm still in the left seat today as luck would have it. Looking back, I'm not at all sure I'd still be in it sans merger.

That said, now please allow me to straddle the fence🙂 To the east pilots, please realize Nicolau didn't find the west argument(or east for that matter) persuasive, and he stated such. To the west pilots, I'm not trying to belittle our 'pain' at all, just trying to be honest about how I feel. I'm thinking we'd have had a rough go of it as an independent AWA. But Parker has shown an uncanny ability to scrape along, despite the odds. However, even if we had scraped along, that doesn't necessarily mean thriving.

1) Hardly. You merely expose yourself for the fool you are. No matter I suppose. Enjoy whatever childish fantasies improve your day 😉 You've done so for several years...no need to stop now...

2) Most amusing little Grasshopper. It's VERY apparent that no part of what laughably passes for your conscious "mind" can even CONCEIVE of concern for one's fellows of many years...which fails to surprise me here on ANY level. 😉

At the risk of throwing your tiny "mind" and clearly sorry excuse for a soul into complete overload; consider the following example: So...if you were safely aboard a lifeboat, and others around you were were still in the water and subject to shark attack....you would have NO thoughts for them whatsoever?....After all..."why would you be so concerned.." at all?...since YOU are already in the boat....? What could possibly be equally or more important than YOU....EVER? 😉

Sigh!....Typical, just plain typical...and feel free to avoid any further nonsensical refererences about karma....about which you're clearly free from any real knowledge of......yet 😉

I have a great deal of concern for my fellow pilot. That is why I do what I can and donate to Leonidas, because I am helping my fellow pilot, west pilot. For after 7 years of dealing with dishonest and untrustworthy east pilots I have zero concern for you.In the beginning I was willing to sacrifice and unify with the east. Now any more you east pilots have destroyed any chance of that.

Using your example I suppose with your ever so wonderful thought and caring for others you would try and put 100 people on a 25 person boat so that you could sink the boat and all be eaten by the sharks. While you are trying to "save" the furloughed pilots and your own water logged career you have sunk the boat of a new contract and any possible unity that may have existed.

It is just unfortunate that Parker did not let your little boat sink completely before coming along and picking up the survivors. Because now the rescued people in the water drug on the boat want to run the boat, drink all the water, eat all the food and throw those that were in the boat into the water and to the sharks.

Yes I believe in Karma and she is warming up the mother of all #### slaps for you east pilots. Because instead of sharing in the merger you have demanded it all, but instead you have gotten nothing.

DOH has always been a problem. But it has nothing to do with the tiny number of "big" airplanes you guys are obsessed about.
