Had a check pilot tell me hiring will be 25-35 per starting middle of next year for a long time unless retirement age gets changed again

I meant the guys out now if they don't come back are going to be in not to good position. Are you furloughed, you should think about coming east and come back to reality. Sorry I could not find the video I was told they are taken down after a month. Maybe one of you buddies was at the meeting.

It was the May PHX crews video and one of your 20 yr 757 guys was the one whining will try to get his name for your but they pulled the tape, I know you are well aware,, we on the east felt sorry for you westies after your were beat on so bad in that video it also had about all the growth, the growth will be east, and nothing for you till 2013 or so. Come east young lad!!!!!!

November Bid will be out later this afternoon. There are additional Capt (25) and F/O (25) positions. If there were not additional E190's coming, why the additional Captain positions? 50 New hires on this bid. There is already 2 classes of 12 in July from the previous bid. I would say 25 per month sounds about right. A friend in the training dept who was in PHX last week was told to expect 200-300 new hires next year. 200 if the AA transaction goes through and 300 if it does not.

I was told that they were in negotiations for additional 190's. The additional positions for pilots moving off of aircraft would all be F/O positions. It is clearly evident that they are anticipating additional 190's.

I can't tell you more than that because of the confidences of the people that gave me the info. But rest assured it was from some of the highest sources.

Increase A319 lines and staffing in support of winter schedule requirements

I have a great deal of concern for my fellow pilot.

What passes for your "concern" for any/all others is clear from: "Using your example I suppose with your ever so wonderful thought and caring for others you would try and put 100 people on a 25 person boat so that you could sink the boat and all be eaten by the sharks." You obviously feel some should be saved and others simply cast adrift...without ever even considering the thought of some/any collective strategy at all.....Should it end up, that by trying to save as many as possible, that all ended up lost, well...at least your end would be met as a decent human being.

Were you already safely on the boat: What would you do?...Await some arbitrator's droolings to decide who's to be allowed onboard?...or just pitch in and do whatever you can to save as many as is humanly possible? 😉

From your collected postings: I've honestly no doubt what your actions would be in any such scenario.......and the only "concern" to be seen would be for yourself. Nothing new to see here.
